Dr. John James Miller, MD

I came in via referral, because I had three slightly numb fingertips. Doctor Miller proceeded to give me a shock in my hand and arm without my consent, It was a very strong shock. He said, "Unfortunately, there will be two stronger ones." I said, "No there will not be" and left. Now my whole arm hurts. Thanks a lot!

I have been waiting for more than 2 years for a diagnosis. I have seen a lot of doctors who have given up after 1 or 2 tests. Dr. Miller assured me he would not give up on me and that gave me hope I will get a diagnosis this year. He has ordered all the tests I needed. He even shows compassion for my husband's Tourette Syndrome, even though he is not a patient. Katrina and Miranda are always very kind and helpful. They all make me feel like they care.

I have not found a gifted doctor in a while and have had my share of misdiagnosis and distant,uncaring providers as a lot of people. I have worked in Medical Care.. There were brilliant physicians like Dr. Miller and others that I could not understand why they chose that field. I don’t settle for mediocre providers... I feel many providers do not look outside of the circumstances and into the patient. Some other providers have a habit of NOT treating each person as the individuals they are! And talk AT you instead of WITH you! That is unproductive and makes for a useless provider. Dr. Miller listens and observes..He was spot on how I felt and what I was going through in a short period. He is gifted... it seemed to me he enjoys his work, which makes a excellent provider! Dr. Miller is a true physician with compassion .. his assessment of me was intuitive, and he HEARD me. And gave me the tests and recommendations I needed for years! I only hope I find more providers that… have half the compassion and intellect to assess a patient so well. Just when I was feeling a bit jaded, I feel so much better after walking out of your office! Thank you Dr. Miller! Ps The Staff is very professional and pleasant always!

Dr. Miller was a pleasure to see. He took the time to listen about my problems and look into them. His office staff was excellent.

Dr. Miller is an excellent doctor. He is very thorough and caring. His staff is wonderful.

He misdiagnosed my condition and as a result I suffered needlessly in pain for 7 months because of his misdiagnosis

In the beginning Dr. Miller seemed concerned and willing to help. Somehow I missed an appointment, I apoligized profusely and explained how important my medical appointments were due to the pain I was in. He said, " You sure didn't bust down the door to get in here." I thought that was an odd way for a Dr. to measure a persons pain by how vigorously they were beating on the door. He didn't explain much of the MRI, just showed me the picture and said, "here is your spine". He REALLY didn't explain it. He never explained my pain or where it was coming from. He simply asked if I wanted to keep the medical process going, and referred me to another doctor. As to how much experience he has, I'm not sure. This website says 9 years experience but another page on the site says he has 14 years experience. There appears to be a mistake on the dates. How could that happen on a site that purports to provide doctor reviews?Pretty pathetic for the number one search result for John Miller,… MD Aberdeen, Wa.
