Dr. John Edwin Miller, MD

I have seen Dr. Miller for over 20 years and he is amazing. He is highly recommended. When I moved back to town after being out-of-state, it took almost 6 months to get an appointment. I never miss an appointment because he is very tightly booked, but when I did have an emergency a few years ago, he saw me right away.

So many people are scheduled that you wait in excess of an hour just to be seen. Staff is horribly rude

Dr. Miller might be good at fixing people who are farsighted, but will not listen to what you want and will not correct nearsighted individuals to anything but farsightedness. He has ruined my life. I used to only have to use my glasses to drive or watch movies in the cinema.....now I have to wear them all of the time. I inferred him before cataract surgery that I wanted to be nearsighted and thought I had gotten through to him, but he did not do that - he corrected me to be farsighted so now I ca no longer read, watch TV, or even walk around in a store without glasses to read prices. I got a second opinion at Emory after the fact and was told that a nearsighted person should never be corrected to be farsighted but that once the surgery was done it could not be undone without possibly damaging the eye permanently. I have been told I can return to where I was before surgery and my cataracts by having laser surgery. I would file malpractice if I had the money to hire an attorney.

I've gone to Dr. Miller for the past 15 years and have been nothing but pleased with him and the entire staff. He is not only very knowledgeable but also friendly and funny. Not too long ago I have having an issue and felt like I needed to get in to see him quickly. When I called they actually worked me in the same day. Overall, he's great and I'll continue to call him my doctor until he retires...which hopefully wont be any time soon.

I really like seeing Dr Milker. I feel confident in his knowledge & skill, he is honest and doesn't push new prescriptions if you don't need them. He is a family man with family pictures & scripture verses around the office and a pleasant staff

One of the best in this region. I won't go to another Ophthalmologist.
