They made a "mistake" with one eye (leaving fragment of old lens behind), which became inflamed and resulted in substantial loss of vision...then tried to charge me to correct their error! Also, their billing process feels like a very sophisticated "three-card monte" game, with numbers appearing and changing...and always increasing beyond the initial quote. I feel like I'm going to need to hire a forensic accountant to sort this out! Very frustrating, time-consuming, and unnecessarily stressful.

Dr. Mitchell was very easy to talk to and he answered all my concerns. So I feel confident in his ability to remove my cataracts. His staff was extremely helpful! Thank you so much!

After a consult for cataract surgery with another practice / doctor, where I thought the doctor's assessment was hurried, followed by a hard sell for laser surgery (and based on a family recommendation), I scheduled a consult with Dr. Mitchell. I could not have been more pleased. Dr. Mitchell was thorough in his evaluation, taking time to explain the surgery and lens options and answering all my questions. He then performed the cataract surgeries, implanting IOLs that gave me full range of vision (near, intermediate, and distance). I'm thrilled with the results. During my 30-day follow-up appointment yesterday, Dr. Mitchell was again generous with his time, conducting a thorough evaluation, explaining what I might expect in the next 4-5 years, and answering all my questions. My consultation with Dr. Mitchell this week for cataract surgery was very informative regarding the procedure and what IOL's to choose. His staff members were so helpful and friendly. Very good experience. Dr.Mitchell and staff are kind and knowledgeable. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. Both my husband and myself have just recently become his patients, and are very happy with our decision.

Have been a patient of Dr. Mitchell for about 15 years. Always feel that I get a thorough exam. Wish I didn't have to wait so long sometimes in office.

Dr. Mitchell is knowledgeable and takes good care of my eyes. I have some eye issues that he watches carefully and he keeps me from worrying. He is kind hearted and does an excellent job with cataract surgery. He gives good advice on selecting lenses (for me, it was mini mono and Vivity, turned out great!). He didn't let me take unnecessary risks so I went into surgery pretty confident. I have an eye condition that could have caused problems post-surgery but he knew exactly what to do pre-surgery so I woulded have problems. I am grateful to have a wonderful doctor who is also a nice guy.

Just moved to the area and had my first visit yesterday 5/9/23. Was referred to this practice by my new primary care doctor. Felt like the exam was very thorough by both the tech and the doctor. Great experience.
