Dr. John Albert Munneke, MD

After having rotator, hip and knee surgery, Dr. Munneke's knowledge of injuries has helped me live a more productive life. I highly recommend him.

I suffer from a dibilitating spine disease. I was seen today and he took the most helpful medication away from me today. I’m very saddened by his decision and I’ve been with him for 7 years and he took the one medication that allowed me to lay in bed with my wife at night without having horrible spasms and leg twitches. And it’s not even a hard drug however I tried to explain my point of view to him and he WOULD NOT LISTEN!!! He painted me into a corner of people that abuse their prescriptions which I have never EVER done Over 7 years yet he still took what is a part of my partially being able to live a little life away in bed without spasms and leg twitches AWAY... I understand people in pain mainagment abuse their meds... however after 7 years you would think that he would know me by now and know I don’t do that but he wouldn’t listen... so thanks I can’t wait to get away from this Dr. As a person I’m sure he’s a good guy but doesn’t care about what helps his patients... same… medications 7 years, my medications have always been on count and in my system. I don’t want these however I NEED them to function to a somewhat normal copasity. But he wouldn’t hear it..... it hurts me after all these years with this Dr. he did this to me... I don’t think he understands or I know he doesn’t understand what he did to me today.... he doesn’t listen it’s all about the $$$ in the Memorial Rd medical group these Drs call and laugh at us. I’ve heard it from the room next to his office... it’s very very sad... if you want a doc that won’t listen or change any medication over a course of 7 years and knows your not an idiot with the medication he prescribes then he is your go to guy.... NOT MINE....

THIS DOCTOR JUST GOES THROUGH THE MOTIONS OF AN EXAM. DOESN'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU OR EVEN LISTEN.

This Dr. Dropped me cause I was sick and cancelled an appointment! Crazy he cancelled all the time due to surgeries, maybe he is on too many drugs and doesn't know what is going on! I'm still confused to why I was just dropped like That! Very uncaring and very unprofessional.

After having an injury to my back I wasn't able to be as active in my life as I had become use to, but Dr. Munneke was able for give me a treatment plan along with medications to control the pain, I built up the strength in my back due to his instruction on certain exercises to try. Now I'm able to run in my marathons again and hike when I go on vacation. I would recommend anyone in pain and needing a great physician to visit his office. Dr. Munneke and his entire staff have terrific bedside manner and they make you feel as though you are their only patient.

Do not waste your time with this doctor!! He is rude, insensitive, and uncaring. If this doctor's name comes up...run pass go and find someone else!!!

He is one of the smartest Doctors in Oklahoma City, he has great bedside manners. I would highly recommend him

not a friendly staff, uncomfortable and small waiting room, husband was unable to accompany me into exam room. Staff claimed the doctor didn't want others back there. This was for a workman's comp case. 90 minutes after appointment time, I was led down short hall to the only exam room. Dont understand why husband cant come back. If this wasnt work comp doc, would not go back.
