Dr. John Philip Muse, MD

You will find this dr more interested in his computer. Does not listen to your complaint of health issues does not physically examine you but will write his note that he did during your visit. Misdiagnosed for several months before correct diagnosis from another dr Advise anyone considering this dr to consider all his reviews and seek another doctor.

Dr Muse is my primary care physician at BWH - Foxboro. He is a capable and competent physician. He is always professional and caring when I see him and he speaks to me clearly about my health. He and his staff respond to any issues in a timely manner. I am very satisfied with Dr. Muse's care as well as the BWH Foxboro facility.

Saw Dr. Muse for follow up of elevated blood pressure visit. He didn't examine me. He appeared very concerned about establishing a relationship, which might have been helped by actually examining me and not interacting with the computer during the entire visit. Have a follow up physical exam and will update the review after that visit.

I saw Dr. Muse for Annual check up. When I told him what my concerns are to my health, he told me that he can't answer any of my questions, I need to schedule separated apps., for each questions. I even need to schedule an appt. for any forms or paper works that need his signature. He didn't even exam me during the check up. He rushed me out of door. I am sure how he can still being a Dr. Obviously, he doesn't want to be there.

After being a patient of his for more than 20 years he leaves his practice and does not allow any patients to go with him. No loyalty to his patients.

He recently moved to a new practice and is not taking any of this old patients from MGH. I called and spoke with the office manger and she said he is not taking anyone from his old practice, I would have to call back sometime in the summer to check and see. I have been his patient for over 20 years and have followed him from 3 different locations over the years, around the Boston area. So this leaves me looking for a new Primary Care... Who does this??? I feel left out in the cold by Dr. Muse. I will not be calling his offices in the summer "to check and see if he will take me" after 20+ years - No thanks!

Dr. Muse is arrogant, rude, disrespectful, harsh, rushed, often wrong. Mulitle horrible experiences. Don't go!

I found Dr. Muse to be arrogant, condescending, and pompous. He spent the minimum of time possible with me; he interrupted me repeatedly; he was rude and very uncaring. I felt like I was on some sort of patient assembly line, and further, that he truly couldn't wait to be rid of me. Go to any other doc, this one is not good.

Dr. Muse always takes the time to listen to my questions and explain things clearly.
