Dr. John Paul Naus, MD

I’ve been coming here for several years and am very happy that I found them. After my initial visit with Dr. Naus, I saw Megan and have continued to see her since. She’s absolutely amazing and while she sometimes runs a little behind, I’m fine waiting because I know she is taking time with each of her patients, not overbooking. I’ve referred a few people to the practice, specifically to Megan, and I always hear how great she is at listening to understand your concern, make sure you understand the treatment plan, and how it’s clear that she cares. Short of moving out of state, I plan on continuing to see her as long as I am in need of a psychiatrist and will continue to refer others here.

Patient for years. Front office staff is not just impossible to get in touch with, but shockingly rude (I imagine there are a couple nice ones but the insensitive, unkind ones make it difficult to tell). The office clearly provides zero training on working in a mental health office, and staff seem to have no awareness they should practice patience and sensitivity like people at most medical offices do. If you don’t want difficulty when a simple mistake is made, or you don’t want your anxiety or OCD or anything else to be provoked, you really should avoid this office.

Very competent staff. They charge for everything before you can see your appointment. Very hard if not impossible to reach your nurse practitioner. If you have money and time they’re not bad. But they want money up front

My experience with Dr. Naus today was a complete waste of time and money. My appointment was at 10am, I waited 2 hours to be told that I could come back at 2 if I couldn't continue to wait. Then when I did finally see the doctor, I was told to go and see a therapist and get more sleep. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder and my appointment was to take over my medication management. Absolute joke.

Insightful and most helpful getting on a practical plan for improvement. Excellent staff who provide invaluable services.

Terrible

I'm not sure if this office has management. I was wanting to stick with a certain provider and she wasn't available, so I saw another who messed with my medications, prescribing new meds. Tried to get back in with original provider and was instructed that the extra week wait they wouldn't be able to prescribe 7 days worth of meds. That if I needed anything, I should go to the ER. Granted, with no insurance these visits are $170. Poor customer service. NO bedside manner. No caring of any sort.

I have been seeing Dr Naus for about 1 year and all he does is throw medicine at you.His staff is far from courteous and are simply rude to deal with.

Dr. Naus takes the time,to listen to me. He never rushed me out of there.

My husband was seeing Dr. Naus. After it was discovered that my husband was abusing his meds and after I had written a letter telling Dr. Naus about my concern, they ignored my intervention. My husband ended up in drug rehab. My husband saw Dr. Naus once, then after that it was an assistant to discuss his progess or lack of or change his meds. Drug addicts know who they can go to and what to say to get what they want. The front office staff is the worse, they do not answer the phone or you go a voice mail loop. This office is a joke. This review is not by his patient but by the wife of a patient.
