didn't even look at my knee or talk to me. c/o x-ray and looked at his chart. didn't discuss options

Dr. Okun performed arthroscopic surgery on my left knee about 6 years ago. I'm an avid swing dancer and was unable to dance prior to the operation. I few months later and I was back on the dance floor. Six years later and I'm dancing better than ever with no pain.

My husband had a total hip replacement. He was left with nerve damage, constant pain, and cannot walk without assistance. We had problems getting proper post-op care including home care, physical therapy, and pain medication from Okun and his office.

Dr's assistant was wonderful while I was in the office. Dr not so great, office staff HORRIBLE each time that I called post appointment. No compassion when I stated that I was in a lot of pain and would appreciate help getting time off work until my MRI, my MRI wasn't promptly read after it was sent to the office, and I was unable to get results over the phone without seeing the doctor. On top of which, I was given a brush off and quick diagnosis of hip flexor tendinitis while in the office, and after I PICKED UP MY OWN MRI and read the report, I discovered I actually have a labral tear. Directions from the doctor were unclear and required follow up by me, and I've never received a follow up call from the office. I've cancelled my next appointment and will be looking for another ortho to follow up with.

Dr Okun performed knee replacement surgery on me. He carefully explained the whole surgery beforehand. I was able to make a full extension of my leg quickly and my recovery was excellent. I would highly recommend him.

I don't know about the doctors but the office staff is terrible. They put me on hold and I had to call back. When I said I was put on hold and no one came back they were very nasty. I spoke with the office manager and all she could do is make excuses that they were under staffed and some of them were at lunch. The office is as good as the people that work there and they are not good. I hung up and refused to make an appointment with that office. Brandon is loaded with orthopedic doctors and I don't kneed to go there, that is for sure. I can't rate the doctors because I don't know them and will not be using them.

I was very pleased with the care and professionalism with which I was treated.I had a total knee replacement, and the scarring was very minimal, and the pain was minor.

I went in for a fall I had and was having pain in my left leg. I received an XRAY--never saw the DR. Was told to get a MRI & was sent away. When I went to get the MRI i was told the DR's office needed to contact my insurance before they could do the MRI. I called the office back to talk to Hank & explained I needed it ASAP since Tower was waiting on it. They never received it and when I called the DR's office back to talk to Hank I was hung up on 3 times. The next day Tower called to let me know they had the approval & to come ASAP so I did. The MRI tech was concerned and told me it looked like I had a fracture and to be careful. I dropped the CD off at the Dr's office only to have HANK tell me the TECH had no right to tell me what he did. He said the Dr's office would call me and let me know the results. I'm still in severe pain even with pain killers. I know something is wrong--I have a high tolarance to pain so if I'm in pain something is wrong. It is now past 2PM and the… office still hasn't called me. I tried to call them only to get the medical assistances voice mail. Also, when I told the office I needed stronger pain med they office never called me back. I ask when I dropped off the CD only to have to wait 30 min for it and Hank again was rude to me by calling me to a window watching me limp and having to lean over wheel chairs to get my new prescription. He has no bed side manner and I hope to God he is not planning on being a DR because he has no compassion for patients.
