Dr. John James Forteza Oro, MD

After several failed surgeries elsewhere, Dr. Oro basically saved my life. He's kind, humble, caring and incredibly competent and trustworthy. His staff was great, the hospital tremendous. We are so grateful for this wonderful human being.

I had high hopes when I was sent to see him. Took a while. He was kind but was more interested in the business of surgery. I wanted to see if i could get better withiout a third operation but he kept wanting to do another operation. Anyway decided to go somewhere else and ny doctor sent me to Phoenix.

What counts is Dr. Oro's abililty to help you recover, not if his staff is perfect

Dr. Oro is the man whose lead every other medical professional should be following. He is humble, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about getting to the bottom of things. I have a rare condition that has eluded far too many "top" specialists for just under a decade. I believe this is because my condition typically occurs in category of people that I don't fit into. Many times I was told by other doctors that my symptoms fit a particular condition, but it simply wasn't possible because I didn't fit the mold. Most people with my condition are severely over weight, which i am not, and quite a bit older than me. It was really nice not to be pushed aside because I didn't fit into some pre determined group of people. God bless you, Dr. Oro!!!

I think Dr. Oro is the most amazing doctor that has ever seen my daughter. He gave her back her life. She had headaches from the time she was very young and we all thought she was faking it. Once we found out what was going on, I wanted the best doctor because of the severity of the looming surgery. He reassured us through every step. She came through the surgery with incredible relief from the headaches and other symptoms she had suffered for years! He is also the only doctor I have ever met that only received POSITIVE comments (no one declined to comment or made a negative comment) from patients to staff to the hospital personnel! I would recommend him to anyone!
