I was recently diagnosed with Brain Tumor @ my Occipital lobe last month. The first symptoms that I had were bad headaches, then started getting blurry vision, at least in one eye, then a bad ear ache, which prompted me to go straight to Urgent care. I met with Dr. Jacobsen (Ophthalmology) to complete an eye exam. The results indicated I had significant swelling behind both eyes. An MRI was scheduled two days later and that's when I learned that I had a brain tumor. It was very hard to process all of this info, especially under a short time period. Started doing research on Dr. Parks & Dr. Roberts and Cottage hospital and was amazed by high ratings. My surgery was scheduled a week later on Wednesday 20 May 2020 for craniotomy. Roberts performed surgery on my vessel the day I checked in and that went well. The next day was the big day .... brain surgery with Dr. Parks. Expected the brain surgery to last 6 hours but it ended up taking him 9 hours to finish. He said… everything went smoothly and they were able to remove 90% of the tumor. I stayed in hospital for two days b4 being released that Friday to my surprise, expected to be in hospital for 5-10 days but that was not the case. The doctor did inform me that I may be left with blind spots in my eyes but thankful that was not the case. Almost five weeks in recovery, my motor skills, speech, comprehension, and sight are all good. I struggled when I went home that Friday not being able to see or think clearly. Each day I got better especially once the medication wore off, that's when I really started to feel like myself. Still, I was a bit self-conscious about the incision on my head, but I must admit, he the incision Dr. Parks did is excellent. Hardly noticeable. I am truly amazed by Dr. Parks and Dr. Roberts. Definitely would recommend both doctors. Dr. is a very busy man and he somewhat fast when it comes to go over all the details, still he answered my main concerns. The great news is that I am here today, standing, walking, talking, driving, etc., I am eternally thankful and grateful to these doctors, nurses, and staff and everyone for all their help and support, and prayers. I feel truly blessed to be here today. God is good!!! My follow up is the end of this week and expect to get great results. I want to say thank you to Dr. Parks and Dr. Roberts you guys are truly amazing. Also, Kate was truly amazing. She was so understanding and patient with me and very helpful. Cold and dismissive. He didn't fully appreciate nor was sensitive to my concerns. Went rapidly elsewhere and got tremendous satisfaction. Too inscrutable. Don't waste your time unless you have a gioblastoma.

My experience with Dr. Park exceeded all expectations for medical care. I had rapidly developed several brain tumors and within less than a week Dr. Park performed a comprehensive and informative diagnostic appointment and major surgery. My short hospital stay was followed by an unbelievably pain-free recovery. Absolutely amazing. Our thanks to Dr. Park, a calm, responsive and caring physician

After being in constant pain for weeks with sciatica, and having been to a physio therapist and a chiropractor without any improvement, a friend recommended me to go and see Dr John Park, and within a week I had a Microdiscectomy on my lower back and was blissfully pain free immediately after surgery. Dr Park was very professional and explained the procedure very well. I am very grateful that he gave me a pain free future.

Dr. Park performed a double discectomy and I am now pain free after ten years of daily pain.

Dr. Park performed emergency surgery on me, he saved my eyesight! I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Park and his staff.

Dr. Park was extremely unsympathetic to my spine issues. He operated twice on my spine (discs) in two weeks. Both surgeries failed. I eventually sought another physician in LA for successful spinal fusions.
