Dr. John Charles Parker, MD

I would give dr. Parker no stars if I could, IN 2009 I was scheduled an appointment with him for a case of folliculitus, which prior to the appointment I was unaware of what exactly was wrong with me- he was very rude and very unprofessional. I remember very clearly him grimacing while doing my examination as if he was “grossed out”, he also made a couple comments that you should never hear from a doctor. A close friend of mine was also scheduled what should have been a routine appointment for birth control at kaiser Petaluma when she was 19 and having sex. He asked her if she was in a committed relationship at the time and she said no, a year later she was pregnant. Every woman has a legal right to birth control, I think that was an extremely unethical decision for him to make as a medical practitioner. No gynecologist should ever make a woman feel the way he did when I was seen by him! I should have written this review when it first happened but this was 10 years ago and I was only… 18. Ive thought about him and this visit at every gynecologist appointment I have had and I also told his co-workers about this incident, a few of them had agreed with me and told me I was not the first patient they have had to have something negative to say about Dr. Parker.
