Dr. John Talley Parrott, MD

I received a spinal cord stimulator & this Dr handicapped me as well…. I had to have emergency surgery to get it removed!!! I am so very sorry that I ever stepped into his office!!! I am truly suffering. He really should have tried to do the right thing & contact me to correct his wrong. I now have a fluid pocket on my thoracic spine, which needs to be removed but I’m afraid to have anyone touch me after Dr Parrott handicapped me!!!

Dr. Tally Parrot implanted a spinal stimulator in me... the trial stimulator worked great. Dr. Tallys did not. When i returned to Dr. Tally he told me what he did was right and I was just someone that could not be helped. I went to other drs. for help. and was told my implant was not in the correct place.

I had back problems already had 1 back surgery at 30 years old. I hurt my back in a house fire. Dr Parrott fused l-3 to s-1 it has been 7 years now and back still doing well. Thanks for your work

I took my wife in to see Dr. Parrott today. Her issue is a compression fracture of the T-7 Vertebrae. Things started of well enough but it became obvious very quickly that Dr. Parrott did not want my wife or I to speak. The more information we tried to give the more agitated he became. At one point when my wife asked to have and MRI of her cervical as well he asked where does it hurt? she started to explain he said again I ASKED YOU WHERE DOES IT HURT!!!!? Is it your mid-back??? my wife said yes but....at this point the thundered answer my question or I will leave the room!!! She tried to tell him she had cervical trouble in the past he was not interested and totally dismissive. She told him of a stenosis issue or tried to oh I guess YOU know everything!!!! He screamed....I stepped in and said wait a minute she is trying to tell you something at that point he stood up and said I've had enough my wife said we're leaving!!!! My wife in level 10 pain was treated worse than a dog!!!!

The appointments that I had with this doctor were quite a few years ago but at that time, there was no such site. I was looking at reviews for another do9ctor and happened to come across this man's name. This was the rudest, most self centered, childish acting man I have ever met. He literally yelled at me for stopping physical therapy when the therapist told me there was no more that he could do for me with PT. Parrott said he was the doctor, not the PT or me and that it was up to him to decide what was best for me, althoughhe offered no solution. I was in so much pain I could barely walk and he proceeded to tell me that I was a woman and women had bad backs and to just suck it up. I left his office in tears and sought help elsewhere. There is no excuse for a doctor yelling at a patient, or being so rude when a young woman (around 34) comes in in obvious pain. Turns out I had injured my back, and with time abd stretching it finally improved.

He is the best doctor in the state and his office personel is great.

This man is the rudest Doctor I have ever encountered! Does a poor job looking into your past medical records which he has immediate access to. This doctor couldn't tell me why I had back pain and then wanted to operate on me anyway. He could care less about what I had to say about my pain and aggressively tried to sell me his surgery and device! I felt violated and emotionally abused leaving his office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parrot since 2008. He is one of the most carrying and talented Dr's I have ever known. He had done multiple surgeries on me and I would trust him to treat me if I require any other. He is one of the few doctors I trust completely. I would highly recommend him to anyone!!
