Dr. John Christian Perry

Best OB ever. Wait times were long, but that is because he takes his time with each patient. He cares! Often, you would be waitting because he was at the hospital delivering a baby...or two.

He delivered all four of my children. Wonderful OB!

I was a patient of Dr. Perry's for approximately two years. Perry took forever to get to my appts. I would have to wait anywhere from 1-3 hours in the reception area (he was not in surgery but with other patients). From the beginning, he ignored my thoughts and questions for my health telling me "I wasn't a Dr. so I didn't know what I was talking about." When he diagnosed me I researched it. When I asked questions that he didn't like would became angry and would refuse to answer them. He would say negative things about me to some of the nurses just outside of the door to the room I was in before entering for my appointment. His information on my prognosis was outdated and incorrect and he refused to discuss any information I had found regarding my diagnosis. When I had severe side effects to some medication that he prescribed for me, he wouldn't return my calls. I had to sit in his office and refuse to leave until I spoke to someone in order to get answers to questions I tried… to get from him for weeks. His staff was more helpful than he was. He refused to refer me to other doctors telling me that they couldn't help me as well as he could. Eventually I realized that his ego was getting in the way of my treatment and when I asked him point blank why he was refusing to help me get the information I needed to get better with, he wouldn't answer me. I left and sought treatment elsewhere. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone who values their health. If this site allowed a NO STAR evaluation I would use it.

My husband and I had a great experience with Dr. Perry. He did a wonderful job delivering our son and gave us great after care too.

He was very kind, patient and has a great way with his patients.

I couldn't even get in. The courtesy of the staff was horrible, i was told to call in and keep my day tied up just to maybe get in. I live an hour away and waited for three weeks to get in, the staff was beyond rude to me. It was horrible.

Dr. Perry himself is a great doctor but his office staff is horrible. They do not listen or care. They act like they are doing you a favor by letting you see the doctor. Also his wait times for appointments is usually between 1-4 hours. I would not recommend going to Dr. Perry unless you do not mind his staff being pains in your backside.

This is my second pregnancy, but with a different Dr. If I ever have more kids I will never change Doctors, and when he retires I will stop having children. He's not only my Dr. But a close acquaintance and I've never felt more comfortable around someone. Even My baby kicks at the sound of his voice and I'm just about to start going to appointments every two weeks!

I have been seeing Dr. Perry for over 20 years, he has delivered all 8 of my children and comforted me through 3 miscarriages. He truly cares about his patients and it shows. Sometimes you may have to wait for an appointment but he is definitely worth it.

Dr. Perry has delivered all four of my children. He is an outstanding physician and an extraordinary human being! His bedside manner is excellent. He really cares about every single one of his patients. I would not even consider going to a different OB.
