Dr. John Gordon Phillips, MD

I was present at my sons appointment who is 24 years old. The doctor was treating him poorly and talking to us like we are idiots. He wanted to order an MRI for my son and I asked for the referral to be sent to the place that our insurance covers better, that set him off on fire and went off talking to me in very unprofessional tone of voice and then left the office without telling us if he is coming back. My son got upset the way Dr spoke to us and he decided go leave the office. In the hallway there was a doctor on his way back to the office and asking sarcastically if my son is going to use a bathroom. My son told him that he is leaving and he is not appreciative his tone of voice talking to us especially the way Dr spoke to me. The doctor again said sarcastically :Ok have a good day". Then I told him that he is very rude. He waved again and said "mam you are dismissed". We requested to see a manager so we can make a complaint and we did. Dr Phillips is some of those people that… gives bad names to the hospitals and people that are in such an honorable field. But I hope all patients are familiar with their rights and that they always have someone to go to and report inappropriate behavior and bad bed side manners of personnel like Dr Phillips is.

No time for you - seems to have very strict schedule - by God - he's sticking to it. His staff is wonderful and very professional but that's all he has going for him. It really counts when you can get a prompt appointment if you need it and you cannot here.
