Dr. John David Pitcher III, MD

We were referred by Dr Sanchez to see Dr Picher. After waiting approximately 3 hours we were called back to be told they did not know why we were referred or what we were to see Dr Pitcher for. My mother is incontinent and we asked how much longer. They said Dr Pitcher likes “to pack them in” meaning overbook patients and it could be another three hours. We asked if we could leave as they didn’t even know why we were scheduled. They said yes and if we did need to come back suggested we schedule on Monday or Friday and to the eye associates Doctor next door instead. Do not recommend.

It was a very long wait in a crowded waiting room. I saw the doctor for less than ten minutes. He seemed very rushed but was nice enough. I think you should hire an additional doctor.

Dr. pitcher gave me a shot for wet macular degeneration. Of all these shots I have received, this was almost painless. Additionally, there was no after pain or sharpness of feeling after the anesthetic wore off. This was unlike almost all the earlier shots I have received.

Dr Pitcher was calm, cool and collected. He had a good bedside manner and was courteous and knowledgeable.

This doctor is wonderful with such a professional approach for treating patients. He informed me of the expectation concerning my surgery and upon completion I was delighted with the results with 20/20 vision. I would highly recommend him.

Surgery skills excellent; asking for and welcoming questions from the spouse (oftentimes the driver) POOR.

Saw Dr Pitcher for the first time today. He was fast but thorough and patiently answered all of my questions.
