A kind compassionate man

Dr. Reitano is a knowledgable, smart, and caring individual. You can't do better than a physician who has the kind of experience that Dr. Reitano has, especially when dealing with cardiac issues. I'm glad that I chose the right man or the job.

Very concerned about patients, excellent bedside manner

I have been a patient of Dr. Reitano for almost 20 years. He is very caring and very knowledgeable and professional. He always returns phone calls and talks to patients in a kind and down to earth manner. Makes sure patients have a thorough understanding of their condition and treatment options. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of cardiac care! If only there were more doctors like him!

He is extremely caring. He really makes you feel as though you are important. Excellent.

Dr. R. is great. He spends plenty of time with patients and makes them feel comfortable. I referred many people to him who feel the same way. He is very concervative for all the right reasons.

Was recommended to this Dr.s office for a stress test because of age. My blood pressure is never high in pcp office. Here, all of a sudden... "blood pressure too high, he must give me "chemical" test." In consultation afterward, Dr. proceeds to scare the daylights out of me by stating "So, you are here because of the pain you had???" Never had a pain....informed him so... "No, I am here because my primary Dr sent me for stress test....no pain." He proceeded to tell me that my stress test showed evidence of previous cardiac problem. (which I never had). He said it could be a "false positive result. We could do further tests." He mentioned "angiogram or angioplasty "then we could "zap" whatever was there." I asked if there was a less invasive way to prove the results. He said a simple "eccocardiogram" would show the right results." ( why would he want to do a more expensive & more invasive testing like the "angio's"????).... Went back the following week for ecco....ALL GOOD...NO… EVIDENCE OF ANY PREVIOUS PROBLEM. Went back to primary doctor. This doctor only sent "bad" results to him. Both of them put me on all kinds of medicine....Found out from my health insurance carrier that they would not pay for stress test unless I had complained of pain. My question is, had I not had any insurance.....would he have still wanted to do the tests??????

Best doctor ever!!! He as a gregarious personality; knowledgable; good diagnostician. You are at ease with him. He actually returns calls and follows up.
