Dr. John Wesley Rinker, DO

I have been going to this doctor for over 20 years. He is always willing to listen to me and takes my concerns very serious. If he is uncertain on what is going on he takes the extra steps to find the answers.

He is well worth the wait!!¡ Awesome Dr... Couldn't find a better one if I tried!!!

I have been using dr Rinker for years and he will occasionally help me outside of normal office hours. Thank god. The one and most difficult thing about continuing with him is his NURSE. Let's say, she is the most rude, short, disrespectful, uncaring person I have ever met in my life. I would literally be so upset when my kids would become ill and have to take them in. Sometimes sitting for an hour waiting with a sick child is no fun. No compassion from Sherry whatsoever. I first thought it was just me but after many years of dealing with this B**** I now realize she is just a horrible person. I can recall a recent incident where I took my kids in to have them tested for 1 thing and she did a completely different test!! As she shoved the swab down my child's throat and nose with no remorse or concern for my child's fear and worry. I believe she is now gone from his office after way too long. Hopefully my future visits and other patients' is a better experience.

Dr Rinker and his staff are the most friendly helpful Health care people I know. He is an excellent doctor and the women who work there are the most kind loving people I have encountered in a doctors office ever

have been seeing Dr Rinker since about the time he came to Pontiac. Warm loving caring doctor. Staff goes above and beyond to help you.

Excellent and caring Dr., one of the best I have ever had. He has been our family doctor for many years, and we would not want to change.

Dr. Rinker is Very Thorough and listens attentively. He is serious and genuinely cares for his patients. Dr. Rinker has "1" Downfall with his practice; his Nurse. She is openly ABUSIVE to her co-worker, RUDE, and does not allow Dr's. patients time to speak. I have left the Dr's. office or ended phone calls feeling I've been cut off and my concerns with my health have not been met. This was not the way Dr. Rinker office treated his patients prior to bringing this Nurse into his practice. This nurse is Extremely Short, Abrupt, and most times Rude with the Dr's. patients. I have witnessed the utmost unprofessional treatment to Dr. Rinker's Receptionist by this nurse. I've witnessed his Nurse literally pull paperwork from the receptionisthands then turn and verbally abuse her without listening to what the receptionist had to say. She may be a good nurse; I can't honestly say. Any contact I've had with this nurse has Always been negative. A year ago during 1 of my office visits the Dr.… stepped out of the exam room and his nurse entered and informed me I had discussed 2 issues with the Dr. and that was all the Dr. would see me for. I walked out of the exam room with questions about tests the Dr. ordered for me. I have to wonder if Dr. Rinker is aware of how his nurse treats people in general. We would have left Dr. Rinker as patients due to this nurse within the first year she joined the Dr's staff. Dr. Rinker has been our physician most of the years of his practice and we have been pleased with his overall care. The issues we have are NOT with Dr. Rinker, they are with his Nurse. We are NOT the only patients Dr. Rinker sees that feel this way, it's known throughout the small communities Dr. Rinker's patients reside. This nurse has given Dr. Rinker negative feedback that is not due to the Dr. I feel sorry for Dr. Rinker's patients who are being treated this same way. There are many times I've left the office and sat in my vehicle after my appointment's feeling my appointment was incomplete.
