Dr. John Thomas Sandy, PhD

Dr. Sandy was able to help me work through childhood trauma that has plagued me for 50 years. He is a master at EMDR and other trauma therapy, and somewhat of an expert on the "gut brain," which really helped me personally

I am disappointed that I called Dr. Sandy's office to schedule an appointment. I was asked by the person who answered the phone why I wanted to see him (which I felt I should not have had to say why but I told her) and I was told, "I tell Dr. Sandy and see what he says about scheduling you and I will call you back." Well, I never received a call back. I think it's a shame when people reach out for help and can't even receive a call back. UNPROFESSIONAL.

I have never known any human being more in his element than Dr. Sandy. His compassion and patience are limitless. His ability to meet each person wherever s/he is (no matter what) the circumstance) continues to astound me. And his vast knowledge is always at the ready, giving real, applicable, effective, functional footholds for those who come and are trying so hard to climb out of the depths of depression. This is a man completely fulfilling his purpose in his role as a therapist by helping others come to find and believe in their purposes and in themselves.
