Given the demands on a cardiologist and this one in particular he took a lot of time with me to explain my condition. I appreciate his concern for my condition which is not life threatening and I felt like he treated me with as much importance as other patients who are facing far more serious features than I am

Dr Saxon is one of the finest surgeons I have dealt with. He has contacted me personally and is advocating for my care personally. U VA is lucky to have such a surgeon - wonderful human being as him.

Dr. Saxon saved my dad’s life yesterday. It blew my mind how calm and compassionate he was, while (literally) having someone’s life in his hands. He took the time to explain everything to us (even drew diagrams) and not once did we feel rushed. Wish all doctors were just like him!
