Dr. John Forrest Seccombe, MD

My Dad came into the emergency room 10 days ago and 4 blockages were found in his arteries. He was a "walking timebomb", "lucky to be alive" Doctors said. Triple bypass surgery would be needed as soon as possible. Unfortunately, because of some specific health needs, there was not a surgeon available or comfortable to perform the surgery within the hospital. Dr. Seccombe was the man for the job but was on vacation for another week. We waited. And I'm so glad that we did. Dr. Seccombe came in for a consult, sat down, looked my Dad in the eyes and really listened. He took the time to explain his plan of action and even to answer the questions of a very anxious family. He studied my Dad's case, researched alternative methods that were specific to my Dad's needs and wants. He handpicked his team to give my Dad the best care possible in the operating room. After the successful operation he came out to speak with us and again, really listened, explained, and eased our minds. I cannot rave… about Dr. Seccombe enough! I can never thank him sufficiently. If you are reading reviews because someone you love is about to undergo a vascular surgery of some sort, rest easy with Dr. Seccombe. To the Doctor himself, if you ever read this, thank you for all you do and thank you for saving a precious heart!

If I could give this guy a higher rating, I would... My mitral valve repair was not a replace b/c of dr seccomb's exceptional skill set.

Dr. Seccombe is the most wonderful doctor. I would recommend him to anyone! We were told by many he was the best, and now we know firsthand! He is brilliant and kind!

my dad was rushed in for emergency bypass surgery and Dr. Seccombe was the surgeon. he is one amazing doctor! he has the best bedside manner i've ever seen in a doctor. He, along with his staff are amazing. i would reccommend him to anyone!

Kind and caring. Never made me feel he was rushed. Was very respected by nursing staff. Took time with my family. Felt that I was in the best possible hands.

I will strongly recomend Dr. Seccombe to anyone needing cardiac surgery. I will be three years post-op this coming summer and doing great. All my troublesome symptoms are gone, thanks to the expertise and caring manner of this wonderfully talented surgeon and his staff. I am a survivor of what I consider extensive cardiac surgery--aortic valve replacement, 4 bypasses,and carotid surgery--all done at one time. I would not have any other surgeon except Dr. Seccombe hold my heart in his hands!! I am forever grateful
