Dr. John Andrew Shutta, MD

Honestly this is the place to go. I’ve been going here since I was a little girl and I’m 21. Dr. Shutta was & is always so kind to all. The office has a cute little area for kids as soon as you walk in! Plus what makes that better, there’s a bin off yours in almost everyone patient room!! The staff here is so sweet & funny, it’s amazing. I plan to take my future kids here!

Front office staff and nurses are professional, yet personable and friendly. Our family has been seeing Dr. Shutta for over 20 years. We have recommended his office to many people.

I have been with Dr. Shutta's office for many years. Going back at least 25 years. All my children have seen him, my parents and sister. After a misunderstanding regarding my insurance, I was informed I owed a large amount. I was then sent a very nasty letter stating that I had been told numerous times that my insurance was not accepted and I had a large balance due and if I did not pay it with in the week or so, I would be sent to collections. I was never informed that my insurance was not accepted nor that I owed a balance. I put a call into Dr. Shutta to try to explain to him, since his billing office administrator was beyond rude, he never called back. Now I am trying to find a new doctor for my family. I will never recommend his practice.

Kind and concerned, Dr.Shutta takes the time to listen and care. He saved my life one day when he patiently took the time to talk to me for at least 45 min. when I appeared in his office for a simple xray without a real appt. He explained my diagnosis in a way I could understand and accept treatment for which up to that point I had refused to agree to. That was 22 yrs. ago and we have been loyal and happy patients ever since.

My entire family have been patients of Dr. Shutta's for over 5 years. I can tell you that once you get to know the staff everyone is family. They take a personal interest in your health and well being. Dr. Shutta has the BEST bedside manner I have ever experienced with a Doctor. I dont know what these other people are saying in their review of this office and staff. I have never had a bad experience with this crew. They care and they show it!

I have been seeing Dr. Shutta for almost 30 years. His bedside manner has always been wonderful. He always takes the time to ask about family members or a past issue. He is very gentle and does what he can to put me at ease if I'm nervous about a procedure. I have two children and he has been their doctor from birth. They are both very comfortable going to see him as well. His professionalism coupled with his gentleness and caring personality, make him number one in my book!

I was a patient of Dr. Shutta when I was a baby up until I was a young adult, age 9 or 10 years old. Unfortunately I moved out of the area and was no longer able to see Dr. Shutta.In the last few years I returned to my old home near his practice. I made an appointment with Dr. Shutta and was seen immediately. I was very concerned with the fact that I do not have medical insurance.This did not end up being an issue at all. I was told that so long as I make regular payments, in my case (as a part-time employed, full-time student) the payment plan they offered me was fantastic. They suggested a certain amount of money per week or bi-weekly and I embarrassingly told the front office that I wouldn't be able to afford that. They then immediately said, "Okay, what are you able to afford?" I gave a number I could afford weekly and they immediately told me that I would be perfectly fine. Dr. Shutta is a very wonderful physician. I have seen perhaps half a dozen Family Practice Physicians over… the years and Dr. Shutta is easily the very best. He is willing to sit and speak with you about your concerns for far longer than I've ever seen a physician stay with a patient during an appointment. Dr. Shutta also very accurately determined the likely source of my issues and began an effective treatment regimen. Unfortunately, I experienced a medical emergency a few weeks later and followed up with Dr. Shutta after my ER visit. He saw me the very same day and my condition is now under control.Overal, he is an incredible physician that spends plenty of time with his patients, from diagnosis to thoroughly explaining the treatment.I would recommend this practice to anyone close by that is looking for a kind, caring, and above all - skilled physician.A+

Ive seen this office since I was a kid. Recently my company changed insurance which forced me to change doctors. Within the last few months we were informed that the old insurance was coming back so I couldnt wait to return to this office.The nurse practitioner, Megan, is who I see on a regular basis ... She is GREAT! Very involved and listens to what I have to say is wrong with me.I would suggest visiting this office.
