Dr. John Spooner, MD

He has been a God send to my grandfather and family! He has given life to grandfather who came into his care with a 7% chance of survival and given him two more amazing years. He performed his 8th surgery (+) on my grandfather today, and once again preformed miracles! He is straight forward, the kindest of hearts, and insanely gifted! Our family will forever be indebted to him!

Dr. Spooner was excellent. After reviewing my x-rays, he explained to me exactly what was wrong and how it needed to be fixed. He gave me options and let me decide how to proceed. Once I chose surgery, he told me exactly what to expect, and he was right about everything. I was back to work within 2 weeks.

Dr. Spooner is awesome. But his secretary, Fay R., is like Darth Vader protecting Mars.

The first thing he said after looking at my MRIs and X-rays was... "I believe you" now tell me your story. WOW. What a way to open a conversation. SO many Drs are trained to believe everyone is faking or looking for drugs. He was the first one to ask about MY STORY and he wanted every detail. PLUS, he was the first one who actually physically examed me. He didn't just rely on the MRIs and X-rays, he actually used his own hands to find the exact spot of pain, and determine how the pain was affecting my life as a person. I cannot say enough good things about him. Compassion, honest, funny, open, caring, and professional. He makes you feel like you are the only patient he has and that you are the ROCK STAR and he is your fan. I would only hope every patient gets a DR like DR Spooner. After years and years of pain, he gave me hope, and he is about to give me my life back. Every DR needs to follow your lead. I wish someone could clone you. Thank you DR Spooner for being the man you are.

I thank God everyday for Dr. John Spooner. Dr. Spooner has given me the ability to sit here and be able to type, to see my daughter to continue to grow into the beautiful young woman she has become. He is the best!!! He is highly intelligent in his field and has a heart of gold to go with it. All of his staff are great people. There are not enough words to describe the impact Dr. Spooner, his staff, and the staff at Skyline Medical Center had on my life.

Dr. Spooner made a quick diagnosis when I showed up at the E.R. at Skyline Medical center. I was having a hemorrhagic stroke. Dr. Spooner knew what he was looking for when he found the cause. Under his care I have felt very safe. He has been willing to answer any and all questions. He was very cautious in my treatment, and I felt confident in his decisions.

Where would I be without Dr.Spooner I would not be sitting here .I would not be walking,playing with grandchildern or able to survive the other surgeries I have had.He did for me what another Dr.failed at seven times And I will forever be grateful.What else can I say!.

Dr. Spooner operated on my husband and we are overall, happy with the outcome. There was a nurse at Skyline named Christie, that I thought was too flirtatious with my husband, and we won't be going back if she is there.
