Dr. John Sun, MD

I have been going to Dr. Sunn for over 10 years. He is oriental and comes across sometimes as short with the patient. However the thing that impressed me most is his willingness to send a patient to a specialist if one is needed. He has always taken a decent amount of time with me and answers all my questions. He does keep all his charts on a laptop and does look at that a lot while recording my answers to his questions.

During the visit, Dr. Sun did answer all our questions, but he did not look at or talk directly to the patient and only took one vital. He was rude to his nurse, did not introduce himself, and was flippant about the patient's condition. I would not recommend this doctor.

Although there were no other patients waiting, Dr Sun had no time for questions or concerns regarding the diagnosis.

My husband and I have been going to him for years. He is wonderful and an excellent Doctor.

We have had two foster to adopt children go here for lack of a better option. Consequently our children saw him for over 2 years. He never had any idea who they were, obviously did not even glance through their files to see pertinent information (gender, foster, etc), was extremely dismissive and rude and simply checked items off his list. This is wholeheartedly a case of a doctor in it just for the money, he could have cared less about my kids. Do not go to him if you have any choice.

Spends very little time discussing patients situation. Pushes you out of the examination room and continues to discuss your condition in front of other patients in the waiting room. I was given samples that were expired. Poor diagnosis skills and only writes prescriptions. If one does not work he writes another hoping it will work. The office manager is rude and condesending. Had blood work done and the results were told to me by the receptionist. She had not clue what the numbers meant or how to improve them.

My daughter has been to see Dr. Sun several times and I have not been happy once leaving his office. No matter what question I ask, he gives me a sarcastic remark and I feel like he is attempting to make me feel stupid for asking questions. I tried to explain that you could "feel" her breathing, meaning you could feel the rattle in her chest. He very rudely said, "you are supposed to feel her chest move when she breathes." UGH!!! Very frustrating. I will be finding a new doctor as soon as I can.

he diagnosed me with strep throat with out a throat swab. i came in with joint pain and a mild sore throat. well, needless to say, antibiotics are gone and i am still in pain. i felt rushed and didnt get to ask all my questions...i pay a lot for insurance and for a co pay and would like to get it all in with one visit instead of having to go back over and over....i will not return to this doctor.

It amazes me how a doctor can diagnose and prescribe in 10 seconds with 10 words or less. No time for questions... no answers. Going to a new doctor.

My husband was seriously ill and in severe pain which lster required exploritory surgery. Dr Sun did suggest seeing a specialist. At the end of our visit he said "just buck up". His insensitivity to the situation was not acceptable and we sought another primary physician.
