Dr. John Michael Tabit, DO

Dr Tabit is a wonderful doctor! My first visit with Dr. Tabit I fell and broke my arm, it was very painful. I was scared he took his time to reassure me that everything would be alright. Then I was in a automobile accident banged up my knee pretty bad he took care of my knee and I am glad to say my knee is good for a almost 60 year old! I tell people all the time who have bone and joint problems to go see my Doctor, Dr.John Tabit he will get you where you need to be! Many thanks to him and his staff they are second to none! If he’s doing surgery on you he seems vested, until after surgery it’s like he’s already washed his hands of YOU AND ON TO THE NEXT BIGGER MONEY. I had trigger finger surgery in 2018 and because I was having some stiffness and pain , he’s says”You act like you just had surgery”! In the past another dr did my hands until PA Prichard referred me to Tabit , he will not be doing surgery on me again! I Do Not recommend him, callus and uncaring!

Poor doctor without much knowledge and felt he knew it all. Gave no help or information and rushed my husband out of his office in 10 minutes and onto another patient. Made remarks of how Grandfathers walk or little old men with bow legs. Said stem cell replacement didn't exist in the U.S. when this information is readily available online. Said we could go out of the country and get it done if we were rich and had 30 grand to spend on it, then he would be his DR all the way! Very unprofessional and a know it all without realizing how very little he really knew. Would not recommend. It was a huge waste of time and money.

The skills and caring attitudes from Dr. Tabit and his staff were above reproach. His technical skill in repairing a shattered bone during emergency surgery after an accident has me well on the road to a full recovery.

John and his staff were amazing. He did my surgery and I had great care following my injury. Very to the point and his office is clean and the workers were friendly.

Dr. Tabit is a wonderful, caring doctor. When another doctor in Beckley did not want to do a hip replacement for me, he did not hesitate. I had been in constant pain for two years. Ten days out of surgery I was walking very well and pain free. I would recommend this doctor to anyone with orthopedic problems. He is top notch!

He is a judgemental jerk. He cared more about telling me to lose weight and insulting me than actually helping me. He boasted about being the best in Beckley yet claimed he couldn’t help me. Even his own nurse looked stunned by his comments.

Had a broken hand. Had an appointment with him on Monday & he operated on Tuesday. Great dr.,wonderful bedside manner, would highly recommend.

Dr. Tabit is a wonderful Doctor. I had a broken wrist and he took good care of it. Thank you Dr. Tabit. I would recommend him to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
