Dr. Tozzi is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon that specializes in joint replacement surgery. He has been the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedics at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ since 2000. Orthopaedics, trauma orthopaedics, spine surgery, spine trauma surgery, rehabilitation/physiatry, podiatry/foot and ankle services are all under his direction. Dr. Tozzi is a second-time New Jersey Monthly magazine 'Top Doctor' and has received one of Jersey Shore University Medical Center's Nurses' Choice 'Physician-of-the-Year' awards. He was also the first recipient of the Father William Atkinson, O.S.A., Humanitarian Award from Villanova University in 2012.

As usual Doc Tozzi gave me the time I needed to ask questions and to check out my knee. He has replaced my two hips as well and my recovery has been problem free and amazing. He is the best at what he does!

John and his are the best always get great care John is a special person and always treated me like family during my visits wouldn't go any where else he's the best in my opinion

Dr Tozzi is the BEST Doctor I have ever had! I would recommend him to anyone who would need is service!

Had both hips replaced by Dr. Tozzi. 1st in 2021 and 2nd on March 20th 2024. I can’t say enough good things about the doctor and staff. My recovery in 2021 was about 5-6 weeks. I did PT At Kessler in Toms River. I’m on track for the same with my 2nd. Hip. I would, and do recommend Dr. Tozzi. Thank you Dr. & staff for all you do. Stephen Pellecchia Toms River, NJ.

I cannot give enough praise to Dr.Tozzi. He is thorough, patient, compassionate, professional and an expert in his field. I was not rushed and comprehended everything he was explaining, as well as future treatment. I would definitely recommend him.
