Dr. John V Tumasz, DO

I should have known from the first visit when seeing Trump paraphernalia on display in the waiting room, a big cross hanging above the receptionist area, and a signed picture with the Pope, that this is a doctor who might be a right wing "snowflake" who doesn't respect facts or science. In the first visit, this old man referred to his office staff of grown women as "girls." I looked past this in my first visit since he was pleasant enough and reasonable, otherwise. HOWEVER... on my second visit, after he was 45 minutes late to the appointment, he comes into the room all flustered and immediately has to pay attention to his phone, remarking that it's his daughter's graduation that afternoon. As a busy professional who has his own life, I also have things to do and my time is also valuable. I was there only because I needed his brief attention to get a referral to a specialist since my insurance requires that. So, I dared to point out that my appointment was scheduled for 45 minutes… ago and asked if it's normal in his office for such a delay. He sat there without responding for an uncomfortable period of time, and I had to ask if he heard my question. He said "I did... and I'm offended!" He then said I can go find another doctor, and basically kicked me out.

I’ve had bad experiences a couple of times I was given a choice of being seen or not at this office I had an serious health issue and called after hours I was ignored no return call . That’s when I knew my life and health doesn’t matter and me being alive for my children if I continue to stay in the care of Dr.Tumasz .

Dr Tumasz is a extremely arrogant & ignorant man. I could put up with his cruel behavior if he had half a brian. He puts on a big Christian front but behaves like a neanderthal. You would receive better medical expertise from your grandmother, I have no idea how this complete air head made it through medical school. In my 47 years of life I have never come into contact with such a rude, simpleton. If you care anything about your health or well being run the other way. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this shame full excuse for a human being. I do believe my review of Dr Tumasz is much better than he deserves. I do have to say the girls in the office were very pleasant & accomadating.

If u get 2 minutes of his time after waiting an hour after scheduled appt , you're lucky. His MO is write a script and "see ya". Horrible doctor, terribly rude office staff. Save your life and see someone who cares.

What a joke. This practice is all about the $$$$ and they don't really care about their patients. I made it clear I was there for a preventative visit (allowed by most insurance once a year with no co-pay). They take your co-pay and you only get it back if the doc allows it. Well, this doc codes my visit as high cholesterol. We never even discussed cholesterol! He even gave me a script for blood work so how would he even know until I went to the lab and he got the results. I complained to the office manager and guess what? I didn't get my co-pay back. Instead, I got a letter a few days later saying, after 15 years, that he could no longer see me. WHAT?????? I never yelled or cursed during the conversation with the office manager. I was persistent because she couldn't give me a reason that made any sense., but that was it. Now I found a new doc and Dr. Tumasz is insisting In pay a 15.00 copy fee to have my medical records transferred. Why should I have to pay? They dropped me as a… patient after 15 years over something ridiculous and now they want ME to pay them????? It makes me sick to think this doctor I have been seeing for 15 years would treat me this way. He is a phony and now that I have a new doc, I can see that he was not nearly as good a doc as I once thought he was. This was all a blessing in disguise. I also think all of the religious statues and pictures simply don't belong in a medical office. Especially one that does not reflect Christian values by their shady office practices. STAY AWAY! STAY FAR AWAY!

Dr. Tumasz has a great bedside manner.

This is the worst doctor - if you wait less than an hour, you are lucky, if he gives you more than 2 minutes of his time, you are lucky. I don't know anyone that has been lucky. He doesn't care, he just pulls out his prescription pad and off you go. The staff are rude. My mother was a patient also for 15 years and she passed away and all Dr. Tumasz did was sign the deather certificate. He could have sent a card or flowers but no such luck. He doesn't help you like a doctor should, he just sends you on your way. Horrible doctor and horrible bedside manner. Very cocky.

Every time the eait is over an hour and then he spends 30 seconds with you. One of his longtime faithful patients (20 years) died and all he coulkd do was sign the death certificate. She went to him for 20 years and not even a card. so uncaring - too many patients to give tinme to.
