Worst human being I have ever encountered in the medical field!!!! Avoid at all costs!!!!

This doctor is probably the worst doctor ever!!! I was very upset so I wanted to write him a review. If could give him a zero I would! He was picked by my son as his Primary doctor and today was his first time to see him. My son saw him because he was having some issues with his throat and feels like something's stuck in his throat every time he swallows. He also feels he has a lump in his armpit and feeling some chest pain which I suspect is that he's having a GERD. To make the story short he just want to see a doctor to make sure that nothing is serious going on with him because he was worrying about it. So this morning he saw this doctor and only sat with him for like 15 minutes. I can not believe that after my son talked to this doctor for a few minutes he diagnosed my son with anxiety disorder and prescribed him anti-depressants. What the heck!!! Right? Stupid to come up with such a diagnosis like that - seeing your patient for the first time, didn't even do some… tests to justify your diagnosis -- basing it only on what your patient tells you that he's having it for almost three years then you concluded it's anxiety disorder and even gave him medications!!! You must be kidding me!!! You didn't even recommend him to see an ENT which I think would be the right thing to do. This is the reason why I changed his primary doctor right away because I don't trust this doctor at all!!!

Very unproffesional, rude, and unpleasant behavior. Doesnt let his patient talk about the issue or elobarte more on it. Would not recommond a visit to this doctor. If you go to KP on Bonita r I would recommend Dr. Bruggemann, much more friendly, kind, caring. You can discuss your health issues in full depth with Dr. Bruggemann. Its money down the gutter if you go to Dr. Turla. I mean seriously read this guys reviews on a few different websites and they'll say the exact same thing. Time wasted. Dissatisfied at how unprofessional his behavior was. KP should fire any doctor like him. Left feeling like my health issue wasnt taken or treated seriously.

My dad had him as his primary physician. He was treated rudely and lacked serious professionalism. My dad came in for a growth and was worried that it could be cancer. He gave no option or consultation and my dad has to take it upon himself to call the neck specialists for an appointment and screening. In between that time, this Dr. Said that if you don't like my services, you can find yourself another Dr. He also never returned any of my dad's calls. My dad made a telephone appoint at 11am and he calls at 10am (when my dad was unavailable). He then logged into my dad's file that he completed a phone appointment (which was false). My dad send him another message asking if the appoint times are a range (can be two hours before or after?) Or is it for that exact time? He replied and told my dad to never ever make a phone appointment with him ever. After my dad pursued meeting with various specialist on his own, it was determined that. He has Stage IV cancer. Critical time was… lost with a Dr. Who should my be employed in the US. Makes Kaiser Permanente loon really bad. What a way to treat a Veteran who served for 22 years.

I find he is right even when I dislike what he says. He is a good patient advocate.

a good dr. takes time ti listen and cares adout what is going on. he is very through and understanding, and compasoniate.

My daughter was seen by an ER Dr in La Mesa for chest pain. The Dr performed several test, not finding anything conclusive. He was still concerned however and strongly advised she be admitted at her insurance carrier for further follow up that day. She was transferred to Kaiser by ambulance, admitted and placed in a hospital room. Dr Turla came into the room and immediately began dismissing her condition. He had evaluated the test done at the previous hospital without having performed any exam of his own. He immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was simply stressed out and should be on Prozac and take a few days off from work. None of his diatribe dealt with her condition. His bedside manner and personal attack had nothing to do with the true reason for her being transferred and admitted. In the end we left the hospital with her in tears, full of self doubt and still with chest pain.
