I'm not sure why he was even there. Every time he came in the room, it was to tell us he didn't know what was causing the problem, but he was pretty sure it wasn't the heart. After they put in a drain to remove extra fluid from around the heart, he came in the next day, and without discussing with the hospitalist, removed the drain. It caused a bleed, and then he proceeded to apply so much pressure, he suffocated the patient. Her last words before passing out were, "I'm passing out." He then attempted to talk to her while continuing to apply so much pressure she couldn't get air. Her eyes were bulging out of her skull, her face was deep red, and she was just making gurgling noises. Thankfully the other staff are more competent and intervened to save her life. We've asked he not be allowed near her again.

Seen for low heart rate. Essentially blew off all my questions. When asked if I had a heart block, he said "That's irrelevant." Made me feel like I was a bother to him for coming in.

Several years ago Dr Verbsky preformed an ablation. So I had met with him 6 or 7 times in total. He was amazing took all the time I needed explaining the issues and what the options were. He preformed a difficult 7.5 hours procedure. He didn’t get it completely fixed however it was much better and he had explained what could happen, before and then again what happened during surgery. I went to him for treatment of SVT. He pushed for an ablation. I asked about different options he flat out stated he really didn’t care. He prescribed a different medication. After a few days I was having issues with the new medication and asked that the nurse call me. She didn’t. I guess she really doesn’t care either. Not the doctor I want looking out for my health.

Best doctor you'll ever find

I was scheduled for a cardio version recently. The staff prepared me, but could not find Dr. Verbsky. Supposedly, he had skipped my procedure and went on to something else. The hospital sent two human resources persons up to make excuses. When he showed up, he was cold, unconcerned, and did the procedure. If you are considering him, Google his name and you will see his record and why he was let go from the Billings, Montana, clinic. Enough said.
