Dr. John Richard Visser, MD

Excellent care. Very pragmatic approach that understands the functionality of managing seizure risk. Wish he was still in the Outpatient setting. His disposition is calm, professional and very comfortable to be around. He will follow up with you via a phone call well past his office hrs which I think is above and beyond. Exceeds the standard of care in my humble opinion.

He has a great sense of Humor it is just very dry. After you get to know him you get him. He always has time to talk I never feel rushed. I have gone to him for 17 years. The first time I saw him he came in on his day off just to see me.

Failed to give correct DX and caused me to have a MS flair that has left lifetime damage. Said my lumbar punture was fine and the middle O bands were elevated, had a dawsons finger on MRI and MS is only disease that gives you one and he said it was because of high BP I only saw him once after that everything was by mail even his final DX

Everyone in town says to go see Dr. Visser. However, their staff is rude and nobody seems to really show any concern for resolving an issue that I deal with every day. My advice, find someone who cares.
