Dr. John David Wheeler, MD

Thank you Dr. Wheeler for taking such excellent care of me and my baby. I had an unusual request for a planned c-section and other obgyns weren’t willing to work with me. Dr. Wheeler honored my wishes and ensured everything went smoothly. I’m thankful I found such a talented and professional surgeon as Dr. Wheeler to make my son’s birth absolutely perfect.

I have know Dr. Wheeler (JD) since high school, he is not only outstanding doctor that has delivered my son he is always been caring and joyful personality throughout the years.

I think he makes you feel at ease at an uncomfortable time. Very good doctor, and no matter how busy he is he makes you feel important. Like you are.

I had visited numerous OB/GYN for years due to unbearable pelvic pain I had been experiencing. I visited about 9 OB/GYNs, had two emergency rooms visit at local hospitals for my pelvic pain and I found no relief. All the tests I was administered seem to suggest that there was nothing wrong with me.I found Dr. Wheeler on the internet after reading several patients' reviews. All his patients had rated him with 5 stars. I decided to give him a try. Best decision I ever made. On my first appointment with Dr. Wheeler, he listened to the nightmare stories and reviewed my medical history regarding the unsolved pelvic pain I had been experiencing. Dr. Wheeler instantly suspected that I may have had hormonal issues or endometriosis, neither if which was ever suggested to me by doctors I visited in the past. Dr. Wheeler put me on a birth control patch for 3 months and told me follow up no matter if I had improve or not. He told me that if I do not improve, even if the improvement was… minor, he would perform laparoscopic surgery just to visual inspect what was going on. Dr. Wheeler recently perform the surgery to find that I in fact had been suffering from endometriosis. No other physician even implied that that was a possibility. I was even told by a doctor at Tennessee Valley OB/GYN that my pain was in my head because tests and ultrasounds did not reveal anything that suggested I had problems. Thanks so much Dr. Wheeler for giving me my life back. You are the best!
