Dr. John B Wheelock, MD

This doctor and his pack of pathologists will tell you you're worse off than you really are. He'll have you in chemo and on radiation in no time. You'll be sitting in the big ol' comfy chemo chairs in his office. Save yourselves.

As I became a patient for surgery with Dr. Wheelock for ovarian cancer, I heard many good things from others about him. It seems there were a number of people in our circle of acquaintances who had had excellent experiences with him. He is caring, patient, understanding,and up-to-date on his knowledge of what's going on in his field. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Wheelock immediately addressed an issue I have had for quite some time. He is such a nice Dr. and very thorough. I felt immediately at ease with everything. The procedure was scheduled very quickly and his staff handled everything for me.

I was referred to Dr. Wheelock after a football-sized mass was discovered in my abdomen. From first meeting Dr. Wheelock, I was very confident in his knowledge and ability and also very comfortable discussing my situation. As a very conservative woman who suffers from white-coat syndrome, it was a very welcomed connection. During the surgery, Dr.Wheelock had to call in a GI specialist to perform part of the surgery. Both doctors did an excellent job. Dr. Wheelock came by to check on me every morning and genuinely made me feel like he cared for me as a person and not just a check on his routine walk through. I highly recommend him to anyone with a need and will certainly visit him in the future should I have a need.

Dr. Wheelock is awesome as well as his entire staff. They are always there to help when I have questions and always willing to see me or talk to me about any of my concerns. Dr. Wheelock also spent lots of time with me during my first visit and listened to all of my concerns.

Since being diagnosed with Lynch Symdrome, I now have a plethora of physicians that I must see on a regular basis. Dr. Wheelock and his staff are awesome. Very personable and always willing to help however you need. The office is always immaculate and wait time is almost nonexistent. I would definitely recommend this Dr. Wheelock to anyone looking for a gynecologic oncologist.
