Dr. John Isaac Williams, MD

Dr. William's is the BEST orthopaedic surgeon around as far as backs are concerned. I have been a patient of his since the summer of 2001. He has performed multiple surgeries on my back and also fixed issues from past Drs. I highly recommend him for your spinal issues. He is very caring and soft spoken.

After experiencing extreme back pain, where I couldn't stand up straight and was barely able to walk, I went to see Dr. Williams. He took an xray and came back and stated that he didn't like what he saw and wonder if I had been in an accident, which I had not. He ordered 6 wks of PT. PT did help; however, by the time I went back for my next appt. I now had severe pain running down my leg, and he then diagnosed me with Drop Foot. Not knowing how seriously this was I listened to his treatment plan. Which was 6 more wks of doing what I was already doing. 2 wks into it I couldn't take much more (and had read how serious Drop Foot could be). I had to argue with his nurse to get an epidural cortisone shot and MRI. The cortisone shot did not help bc my nerve was pinched so bad. I finally was able to obtain an MRI 5 wks later. I went to another doctor after that and he performed back surgery for me several weeks before Williams was going to see me again. Today, my back problems are… gone; however, because of the time between my diagnosis of Drop Foot and surgery, I now have symptoms of Drop Foot for the rest of my life. I am unable to run, jump, or make quick movements. A simple MRI in the beginning would have avoided all of this!

I seen Dr. Williams for the first time yesterday & in 6yrs I have hope of getting out of this pain or at least some of it. I had my back fused in 2000 & was fine till 2008.I have been on all sorts of meds ect that just masked the issue & grew to what it is now. He explained what is going on & has set a plan for me. I had almost gave up & the thought that this was the rest of my life in this pain was a soul & mind taker. The office staff is very nice & helpful. I wish I would of went here when this first started.

fixed me up after the hack job Dr. Young of neuro spine ruined my life for over a year. Dr. Williams found the broken vertebra that was missed by the fore said doctor. repaired it and did xlif at same time to repair damage from previous doctor. Top notch doctor would recomend him to every one who ever asked!
