Dr. John A Wray, DO

I went to Wray in my 30s and early 40s. My labs kept coming back with abnormal liver levels and he said not to worry about it. Then he fired me as a patient when I had a conflict with his staff. That turned out to be the best thing that could have happened. My new doctor immediately had me tested and found I had hepatitis c contracted from my job as an Abilene firefighter. I am now facing life with liver disease thanks to Wray blowing off my abnormal labs. Do not trust Wray he is a quack.

I went to Dr Wray along time ago ,he is the best ,he truly cares about his patients. H e listens cares and heals .I moved away along time ago ,never forgot him.

Took awhile to get in to see him. I had a 10:30 appt and didn't get to see him till 12. However they squeezed me in when I called the day before so I have no complaints. I was thankful to get in. Dr. Wray was very friendly and helpful. He even called me after hours to let me know my test results. His nurses, front desk person, and support staff were all polite and happy. It was a wonderful experience. Made me feel good even though I physically felt bad.I would highly recommend him and his great staff to anyone.

Office personal argue with you right in front of other patients. Dr. John doesn't seem to care or try to intervene. Says he doesn't get involved in their jobs. His wife is office manager and seems to be the same. They take staffs side every time. He never spends Enoch time with patients and is always behind still. He talks about patients when he has been in my exam room.thou he never said a name. I no Longer trust the Dr. Or anyone in his office. They are heartless in the offices.

I'd seen Dr. Wray for a few years recently. I have come to the conclusion that he does not care for women. He is very condescending towards me and is totally disengaged. Other women in waiting room have similar experiences. Hopefully this can help another person in decision making.

The more you need a Dr, the less John Wray will be there for you. He & his office employees are very unprofessional, & don't seem to know what their Hippocratic is supposed to be.

Dr. John has been my family physician for nearly three decades. He is an amazing combination of knowledge, intuition, and common sense. I will be moving within the next year and one of the things that I am going to miss most is Dr. John.

My family loves Dr. Wray but he seriously needs to get some new office staff and get rid of the ones he has now. They act like you're a bother to them. I've only seen a few that you can tell that they genuinely care about about their patients but I guess the office manager got rid of them. We had been going to Dr. Wray for 15 years but now it's time to find a new doctor. You can't seem to find a good doctor that actually has friendly and caring office staff.

Dr Wray is willing to take the time needed to assess your problem and listens very well. Takes time to explain treatment options. He also lets the patient make decisions in their care.
