I waited over 4 hours to be seen! And the office was empty. There may have been a total of 3 other patients that whole 4 hours. I checked in at 10:10 and didn't leave until almost 2:30. He came into the room and didn't bother to examine me. I presented with a swollen (sprained) ankle and he asked me where it hurt. I showed him where. He immediately pressed very hard on the spot I showed him. He said there is pain but he doesn't believe it is a sprained ankle. He stated there may be other reasons I have pain in my ankle besides the action that I believe caused it. He stated he read my file and believes maybe it is gout. It is NOT gout. I don't have the symptoms of gout. Despite that, he said it may not be gout but it is definitely NOT a sprained ankle. He is a worker's comp. doctor and definitely sides with the company and not the employee. Despite the fact that the emergency room sent me home three days earlier with a diagnosis of sprained ankle and sent me home with… crutches, he said he disagreed (with no examination except for his hard press in the area of pain.) His exact words to me were, "You can be seen by your own doctor at your own expense." And, "This isn't the end of the line. You can always take it to the Workers Comp. Board." Not professional at all, not caring, no diagnosis given (except for ankle pain) and rushed to get me out of there (despite a ghost of an office.) I had to stand in hallway and wait for 10 minutes for office staff to show up and give me paperwork after appointment. It was empty and quiet. I definitely DO NOT recommend seeing this doctor!
