Dr. Johnny B Delashaw, MD

I first went to Dr Johnny in the Spring of 2014. He recommended surgery on my back. He or to later learn that it could have been someone else doing the surgery took out several bone spurs in my back. They fused L3, L4, L5 and S1. After a year and a half things were not better and he recommended more surgery to shave one of the vertebrae. And after nearly 2 years after the second surgery, I wish I would have not had the first surgery. I have more pain in more places than before and my left foot is completely numb. I have little movement in my toes. I can't walk very long distances and my hips hurt. Johnny is a greedy meatball surgeon. Hope he never gets his med license back.

He preformed, or at least he was supposed to perform surgery for removal of acoustic neuroma. He was not honest about potential long term effects, there is still facial paralysis, nerve malfunction and significant balance issues. Never saw him during hospital stay, sent home even though extreme fall risk. Please don't EVER let this man touch anyone again.

Dr Delashaw was forced to resign his position at Swedish/Providence in Seattle months ago. The State of Washington suspended his license months ago. See the numerous investigative articles in the Seattle Times. Why continue to list him???????

It been one year and five days since my surgery.iam in worst pain now then I was before my surgery recovery has been slow.and my first appointment with him to discuss my MRI he walked in the door with a student and told me I need surgery next week.he acted like he knew me to the student which was my first time there.he is surgery happy !!

After surviving two non malignant brain tumor surgeries at the hands of Dr. Delashaw, I consider this doctor a miracle worker. He was wonderful & this family feels lucky to have had him..

Incredible surgeon, he did back surgery on my husband at OHSU in Portland, Or. and myself at Swedish Hospital in Seattle at Cherry Hill.

Dr. Delashaw performed two brain (3 aneurysms) and cervical spine surgery on me. Everything went perfectly! No side effects. He gave me such a sense of confidence and calm at this most difficult time. FIFTEEN YEARS LATER I am going strong! He saved my life! Thank you and God Bless you Dr. Delashaw. â?¡

The first thing out of his mouth was I need surgery, he would have his staff contact me to set it up. Did not even explain why. This was the first time I met the man. When I asked exactly what kind of surgery he thinks I need, he did tell me but did not even ask me if I wanted surgery or if there was any other options. I declined to have surgery and he stated why did you waste my time and walked out. I had an appointment with him to discuss the results of my MRI and to see what my options where. That never happened. I would not recommend him to anyone. Just to let you know I did not have surgery instead went with therapy and it worked out fine. He is to fast to operate and not give options.

He is insensitive and will tell you you need surgery when other options are available. Don't recommend this person!
