Dr. Johnny Williamson, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Williamson for over 5 years. As a women it can be uncomfortable having a male physician when dealing with sensitive issues. I have always felt that Dr. Williamson actually listens to what I’m telling him. He has the best bed side manner and is extremely easy to talk to. He responds quickly to refill requests even on holidays.

I thought Dr. Williamson genuinely cared about my well being and was helping me for a really long time. He was inappropriate on more than a couple occasions though. When you already have issues with people treating you like that and then go in for help dealing with it, you shouldn't be treated in the same way. I went for help but was treated like an object. He might be a good psych for men? I wouldn't go there if you are a woman though.

I was diagnosed with A.D.D. when I was 14 years old and have been seeing doctor every 90 days since. I am now 41 years old. I have lived in 4 different states and have probably had 15 different doctors over the years. Dr. Williamson is by far and away the best doctor I have ever had. He is very approachable, easy to talk to, and exceptionally knowledgeable. I highly reccomend.

Dr. Williamson was extremely good with my pre-teen son during his time of crisis.

Very inadequate. Look elsewhere.

His unprofessionalism and ethics should be questioned given that he did not tell me that he was closing his private practice and just no showed for my followup appointment.

I find it ridiculous that I am not able to follow up with anyone else if he is not available. He is only there a few hours, once a week, and I feel rushed every visit. Tough luck with concerns any other day that I may have concerning my son's well-being.
