Dr. Johnson Chan, MD

I have worked in the healthcare fraud industry for over 15 years. I have seen many doctors in my life and Dr. Chan is up there as among the worse physicians when it comes to patient care. He is clearly in this profession for the pay because he has no human decency in him whatsoever. Nobody should ever consider being under his care or allowing him to treat someone you love. We had some very amazing doctors at Kaiser Santa Teresa, but this doctor should be ashamed for being the rot in such a noble profession. I had a relative in his care that died alone in his hospital bed because Dr. Chan didn’t have the human decency to let us know his condition the last 48 hours before he passed. No visits, no calls, no follow up, not a care in the world. He didn’t return a single phone call or message nor did he come to our side while we grieved. He basically told us he did not care because our loved one was going to die anyway. Just horrible! Please, please please stay away from him and… find a physician who cares to help you no matter how bad your diagnosis is. There is no hope in his hands.

One of worse doctor I have ever seen in my life. He is very unprofessional, unethical and irresponsible. If Kaiser assign you this doctor, pack up your stuff and run from the hospital. He doesn't even review patient medical history thoroughly before starting treatment and has no idea about patient care at all. For him patients are just bodies, treats them as animals.
