Dr. Jolie Rae Chance, DO

I was surprised to see a review calling Dr. Chance irritating and patronizing, as I would describe her as the exact opposite. I was a walk-in on my first visit, trying to get seen for a suspected sinus infection. I was impressed at how much time she spent asking me about things beyond just my presenting symptoms. I love that she is a DO, and feel like she encompasses what that is about, focusing more on the whole person. Even though I work an hour from her office in Pleasant Hill, I would rather make the drive or go into work late to now have to see a random doctor somewhere else. My family and I have been seeing her for over a year; I'm just now posting because I stumbled across a bad a review and wanted to share my experience.

If you are looking for a doctor who is a good listener, non-condescending, pursuer of new knowledge, and an all-around good caretaker - then keep on looking.

Dr. Chance is kind, friendly, and gentle. She is wonderful with my son, My son has seen her four times & talks about her all the time :) I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a wonderful doctor!

She is a wonderful Doctor , has treated my self and my husband for the last year , shes very informative and to the point ,give great feed back and suggestions ,works with the person shes treating , we are very happy and fortunate to have her as our doc, if there were more doctors like her there would be less sickness in this world ,
