I did not feel safe seeing this doctor. He was arrogant, condescending, and spent most of the appointments talking about himself. He was insulting and rude; he has contempt for patients (I barely spoke to him so I have no idea why he was so mean). He ended up missing a serious illness that left me debilitated for weeks.

By far the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. I agree with most of these reviews... he was extremely dismissive and condescending with me when I brought up concerns (he seemed to actually enjoy disagreeing with me!). Refused to refer me to a specialist or do additional basic labs to get a better understanding of my symptoms ("I don't know anything about those labs."). He was 20 minutes late for our first appointment and admonished me when I told him I had to leave in half an hour, stating that I should always take into consideration that he would be late! I could go on. Where did UCSF find this man?

Worst experience! Totally dismissive and careless.

I am a physician, a retired professor of medicine with 40 years of clinical experience who is being treated for complications of a brain tumor. Dr, Eichelberger was rude, dismissive of my concerns and actually hung up on this virtual meeting. I have never witnessed such callous and cruel behavior in my life. Please avoid this practitioner.

I was a patient of Dr. Eichelberger for 3 yrs. I had hypertension that varied greatly from 140/80-200/80, tingling in my extremities, & Graves Disease. Dr. Eichelberger never wanted to address my problems especially my hypertension. For all my problems, he just said "you are old and that is expected". He never even bothered to change my meds or refer me. I ended up having a stroke and left this doctor. My stroke was because of my Essential Hypertension. It was uncontrolled and no matter how I complained, Dr. Eichelberger failed to take note. This MD needs to retire as he certainly doesn't care about his patients. Don't even bother to see this doctor. He is a total WASTE of time. Sad that he is still practicing.
