Dr. Jonathan Taylor Donaldson, MD

I find Dr Donaldson is somewhat of a rare Gem in the Medical Profession. When he walks into a room he is clearly locked in on his patient (1:1) & blocks most everything else out. He presents such Calmness, Patience, Listening / Absorbing Skill & his questions show a Deep Proficiency – yet all totally void of arrogance. I felt like he was right there with me feeling my pain. Within the first 5 minutes, I decided that I have no alternative but to trust this Doctor with my life and that is exactly what you want when your carted into that operating room - with very sharp objects all around and everyone has access to them but you. He actually has a knowledgeable person on his staff who contacts at risk patients once a month to insure they are getting everything they need from him & his staff. This isn’t some simple greeting call. This is the real deal where she will actually walk you thru a series of relevant questions designed to uncover any issues = and if the need for help is uncovered… - it will be promptly dealt with that same work day or the next. Who else does that? I’m 82 years old and I thought I had seen it all. Well I guess I was wrong. Everyone has to get lucky once in awhile and my Urological luck began the moment I chose Dr. Donaldson as my Urology Specialist. I must drive 4+ hours round trip to get to him and he’s worth every mile and more.

Dr. Donaldson is a wonderful and caring man who serves his patients with enthusiasm and dignity. He goes the extra mile to ensure that you understand his diagnosis and recommendations.

Dr. Donaldson has been our family’s Urologist for probably 40 years. We cannot say enough good things about the care he has provided our family. Our wellbeing has always been his main priority. That hasn’t kept him from being compassionate in addition to professional. Thank you doctor Donaldson for always being there for us!

I went to the ER with an abscess that was more serious than I realized. They admitted me and put me on IV antibiotics. They did their best to make me comfortable. Somehow there was a miscommunication with the surgeon who was going to do the lancing & debridement of the abscess, which caused a delay of at least a day. But, once I actually talked with the surgeon, he did his best to accommodate me. I got instant relief after the surgery. After that, I only had GI distress due to finishing the course of antibiotics, which unfortunately nobody can help. Now that it's all over, I'm doing well!

This was my first visit with Dr Donaldson. He was very easy going, friendly and explained everything in detail concerning what he recommended! I have a follow up visit in about 30 days.

Dr. Donaldson is a gentleman and a great urologist and surgeon. He is likable and experienced at his craft. He did a great job of identifying the precise location where the oncologist could target the cancer in and around my prostate. The team did their jobs well and the post treatment blood test showed virtually minimal levels of cancer.

Dr. Donaldson exudes caring, diligence, and encouragement. Having him as my urologist, though for a relatively short duration, has been a tremendous blessing in moving me forward while enduring multiple major health challenges. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to him, as his kindness and consideration have been highly instrumental in my healing process.
