I would recommend Dr. Graff to anyone.

I can not stress enough to anyone considering surgery by Dr. Graff to read this. I had a surgery done for gynecomastia at age 17 and thought I did everything reasonable in addressing it in seeking professional help. He insisted I need lipo and lipo only and even at 17, I was intelligent enough to know that lipo alone would not make a dent in the gland issue that was the real problem. I trusted his insistence and went through the surgery, to no surprise I had horrible results, worse then it originally was. The tough gland tissue was even more prominent now and I had to move away for college, with no opportunity or time to go through another surgery and stressful recovery period. I suppressed the issue, hiding for years until I finally got the courage to confront him. I easily gathered expert doctor testimony stating that lipo alone will never get rid of the gland and that most patients will need the gland removed and how they constantly saw disgruntled, dissaspointed patients for… revision surgery after an incompetent and inexperienced doctor pushed and insisted for lipo only. When I addressed the issue to him I was horrified with his rudeness, lack of sympathy and care and casually brought up to just throw another surgery in there to fix it. The realty is the revision surgery would be to do exactly what he did not do the first time, gland removal. Considering all the basic concerns of surgery, added to the complications from the first unnecessary surgery, Dr. Graff felt that doing another surgery was no big as if everyone has a year to spare of recovery time and pain and suffering. As difficult and emotional this issue can be, my experience with Dr. Graff was scarring to say the least as that man's mistake cost me many years of hiding, embarrassment, and living less of a life. In deciding to use Dr. Graff, I was forewarned you.

I was referred to Dr. Graff by my primary doc for removal of an infiltrated basal skin cancer (diagnosis confirmed by samples taken during surgery). Making the appointment quickly was important to me, and there was some resistance from his staff, but I was able to prevail. Dr. Graff and his assistants were very pleasant, my surgery went well, and the pathology report indicated clear margins around the lesion so no further work was required. Once I got the appointment, the surgery was scheduled very quickly, which was good.

Attempted to make an appointment with Dr. Graff because my friend had breast reductiomn surgery and was pleased and had a good result. The secretary scrutinized my call and I told her that 20 years earlier I had breast implants and that following a weight gain the breasts were/are causing excessive pain due to a bad back and neck. She was dismissive and said "Dr. Graff won't fix anybody's work". I informed her that wasn't what I wanted done that my neurosurgeon has recommended the surgery because of my problems with stature and pain. I could barely get a word in edgewise and I finally asked her to please ask the doctor if I can have an appointment. She rudely agreed. I received a phone call several days letter from this same secretary who said..." talked to Dr Graff and he doesn't want to get involved". I don't believe Dr. Graff was ever consulted about my request. There no damage to fix that the previous surgeon caused. I would NEVER recommended this surgeon. If he has such poor… judgement to have an individual like this working in his office I wouldn't trust his judgement for a surgery plus I think he also was very unprofessional.

Attempted to get Dr. Graff to do a consultation for breast reduction. Made the mistake of informing "Tricia" in his office that 21 years ago I had a drastic weight loss and had 8 skin removal surgeries. SHE stated that Dr. Graff probably would not get involved because I had other work by another doctor. I informed her that there was not a problem with the previous doctor but I heard of Dr. Graff's work through a friend who suggested I see Dr. Graff. I was told this morning by Graff's secretary "Tricia" that Dr. Graff does not want to get involved in another surgeons work (quote). This is an entirely isolated case -- the work I had previously was over 21 years ago. I preferred a newer trained plastic surgeon rather than who I had 21 years ago for breast reconstruction. I'm appalled that Dr. Graff wouldhave his secretary relay this type of message. He should have at least offered a consultation and then decided.

Dr. Graff was excellent from start to finish. His staff was professional, my surgery was scheduled quickly as was my follow up visit. I would highly recommend him
