Dr. Jonathan M Hershberger, MD

Dr. Hershberger is not compassionate, made false statements to me and in my opinion, is a bully - not qualities you want in your physician. I am actually relieved I met with him prior to delivery and was forced to switch medical groups. A blessing in disguise. Dr. Hershberger attempted to coerce me into having an unnecessary/potentially high-risk medical procedure performed during my second trimester. I told him I wanted to get a second opinion from a specialist on whether the procedure was necessary while pregnant, but ultimately, would prefer to wait until after delivery . The OB coordinator at his medical group later called to threaten me and then 3 hours later Dr. Hershberger personally called and terminated my medical care/abandoned me as a patient, a pregnant woman during her second trimester. Fun Fact, the specialist agreed with me that the procedure Dr. Hershberger attempted to get coerced consent to perform was unnecessary while pregnant and could safely wait.

I saw Dr Hershberger for a 2nd opinion since I was not happy with my previous OBGYN. His staff was very kind and accommodating. When Dr. Hershberger met with me he treated me with the utmost kindness and respect(the kind I've never experienced with any other kind of doctor). He even noticed some things on my tests results that I had that either my previous doctor missed or wished not to bring to my attention feeling it wasn't important enough. After my examine he knew exactly what the problem was immediately. He is extremely thorough and highly knowledgeable. He explained everything to me in a patient and respectful manner. I am so thankful to him and his staff and pleased he will be my doctor who I feel will be doing his best to help me and oversee the personal care I need. He is an outstanding doctor who I would gladly recommend to my friends and family. He really is that great!

I am so glad I found Dr. Hershberger and that he performed my 2nd c-section. He listens and has very credible answers for your questions. He will accommodate any special requests. He is an amazing surgeon and he takes the time to remove old scar tissue and make the incision as nice-looking as possible. You can tell he has pride in his work.
