Dr. Jonathan S. Hott is a board-certified, fellowship trained neurosurgeon who specializes in the treatment of all conditions of the spine. He is a graduate with distinction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and went on to earn his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. After his second year of medical school, Dr. Hott was selected to complete a one-year research fellowship as a Howard Hughes research scholar at the National Institute of Health. He was rewarded a full scholarship as a result of his work for his remaining years of medical school. He then conducted his general surgery internship at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. Dr. Hott completed his neurosurgical residency at the Barrow Neurological Institute, where he also completed a Complex Spine Fellowship.

Dr. Hott is great! I would highly recommend! He has amazing bed side manners, compassionate, and his office staff exudes the same standard of great care to all his patients!

I had made up my mind to interview 3 different neurosurgeons for my complex procedure. Dr. Hott stood out by far over the others. Just the sheer fact that he listened to my concerns and showed genuine compassion for me. Fast forward, as my procedure neared I had several experiences with his office staff and all were very friendly and positive. Following my procedure, I can't tell you how amazing his bedside manner was....just a very calming voice and always made me feel like I was important to him. I am so happy our paths crossed and I will never hesitate to refer him to family and friends. Thank you Dr. Hott!

I was fortunate to have been a patient of Dr Hott. He performed a complex spinal reconstruction. I was referred to him by another physician he had treated. He told me he had unparalleled skills combined with warmth. That was in fact my experience as well. I have back my normal function and am thrilled. You cannot find a better combination of skill and caring in a doctor.

Wonderful and caring doctor. cannot ask for a more knowledgeable and compassionate human being in dr. Hott. Over all my extensive years dealing with the medical profession I have never been party to the easiness of having such a quick response from a doctor, who not only is brilliant in his knowledge, but is so caring.
