Dr. Jonathan Robert Insel

Dr Insel is not only a great Dr but he is also a very kind and compassionate person. He takes care of my son with cancer and all of his endocrinology needs. He listens to our worries and needs and always has answers. Dr Insel and his nurse take the time to really care about their patients.

Dr. Insel takes the time to actually talk to his patients and encourages them to learn about their conditions in a meaningful way. He is insightful and displays integrity and kindness even when dealing with the most difficult of patients. He is truly an inspiration and displays a bedside manner not many can rival. The doctor also takes the time to get to know his patients, displaying care not only about their physical condition but their mental condition as well. He treats every one of them as a valued member of his community. His staff are also very professional and treat all the patients with kindness and empathy without prejudice.

This dr thoroughly researches my condition. He's personally checked up with me to make sure I'm doing ok with any medication prescribed and works with me to ensure that I'm getting the best care or whenever a new treatment is necessary. He listens to my concerns regarding all of my medications and conditions whenever I'm worried about complications or how they affect what I'm seeing him for. He also explains everything to me, repeatedly if needed, until I understand.

This 'Doctor" might be adequate for obese diabetics... but in male hormonal health, he is totally incompetent. Further, he is unethical. He dropped me as a patient solely for my personal decision to not take Eliquis or Warfarin for a minor DVT, an area that he was NOT treating me for or had anything to do with. Although I was under the care of TWO doctors for this DVT, he claimed I was "self-treating".

Dr Insel treated me around 2006 . I had been diagnosed with Hypothyroidism . I am a Vietnam Veteran who has Peripheral Neuropathy associated with Agent Orange . There is evidence that my Thyroid problem may is also a part of it . His treatment plan helped me to enjoy a more normal life . I always enjoyed my appointments . I will always be grateful for his treatment of my disease .

Dr. Insel is exremely bright and takes time to analyze different symptoms to arrive at the correct diagnosis. Excellent bedside manner - I feel very lucky to have him as my physician

Dr. Insel is a caring and responsible human being. He was the only one who could diagnose me correctly some years ago. If I again need to, I will travel to see him.

I have been seeing Dr. Insel for about 4 years. He is the kindest, most caring person who has incredible diagnostic skills! makes He even calls you personally at home for your test results. He is the Best!

My husband & I have been seeing Dr. Insel for a number of years and couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable and kind physician.
