Dr. Jonathan Marc Magid, MD

I saw Dr. Magid twice. The first time was a pretty normal visit and he ordered tests. When I came in for the follow-up a week later, he changed completely. He came in agitated, yelled at me, wouldn't let me speak without yelling over me and told me he didn't know what was causing my issue and didn't want to treat me (he could have just said that before). I have NEVER seen any professional any this way, and I started crying. He then gave me the number for an ENT and left the room. Totally abusive and should not be allowed to see patients behind closed doors.

My guy for at least 12 years. Best doctor bar none!

Best doctor we've ever had. Dr. Magid's secretary and nurse are so nice - friendly, prompt and efficient. Phone calls answered or returned promptly. They remember your name and are very nice and professional. We love Dr. Magid - easy to talk to, good sense of humor, very personable and very thorough. All positive experiences with Dr. Magid and his staff.

I am 61 years old and have lived in many large cities during my lifetime. I have had Dr. Magid as my doctor for over 8 years. In my opinion, he is the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He has that combination of skill, knowledge and bedside manor that is the top I have ever seen.....

i was recommended to him by my physical therapists in tx women's hospital. they are personally patients of him. and now he's my dr. yes he's young and yes he has a get go attitude. but lemme say something bc i work in healthcare too. i work in a pharmacy. he's an excellent dr. many people might describe him as arrogant but he's not. in healthcare you have a lot of patients to move along and a tight schedule. he's best dr i ever had and i wouldnt trade him for the world. i'm type one diabetic and i trust him with my eyes closed. he recommended an excellent endocrinologist and even help my mom with her leg disease when 3-4 other drs in rosenberg area couldnt. he's far in houston and expensive but he's worth it !

I have been Dr. Magid's patient since 2008. I like his straighforward approach. The best thing he did was send me to The Methodist Hospital, saved my life. People should understand medicine is an art, with a bit of science. Dr. Magid is proffesional, straightforward and honest. If a person is willing to take responsability for their own health and fitness, you will find Dr. Magid an able partner. I recommend him. mht

Probably the best internist in Houston

I've been seeing Dr. Magid since 2006. I moved to California in 2009 and have since visited 4 GP's here in the Bay Area. None of them have even come close to Dr. Magid's professionalism. Let me just say that you guys have it made in Houston as far as medical care goes...because it's sub-par here in California! So much so that i make it a point to fly back to Houston once a year to have my physical and lab work done with Dr. Magid and review my medications. Dr. Magid doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to your medical problems....he's a straight talker and that's what I like about him. He doesn't sugar coat things, but rather gives you the facts and his recommendations. He has never forced me to take a specific medication, but rather has explained to me the options of what's available and allowed me to have input on what I want to do. He has explained to me in easy to understand laymen terms what my conditions are and how they affect me. I personally like doctors who are… connected with me as a person/patient and listen to my concerns and ask questions. I can honestly say that in my personal experience with Dr. Magid over the past five years that this has been true.
