Dr. Jonathan Charles Parker JR., MD

Dr. Parker had an arrogant, demeaning, dismissive attitude when I brought in my family member, who is a young adult, to see him in urgent care. Dr Parker treated him as if he was trying to game the system to get medication, when he actually has a very serious medical condition. Dr. Parker humiliated him and me. He left the doctor's office totally diminished with his head down, and I was shaking. I had to argue with Dr Parker that he qualified as CDC high risk for complications, and the doctor pushed back, saying "no he doesn't" and "but you look like a healthy young person, why would you be asking for meds? These are for old people." It was only after I insisted multiple times that he actually looked it up and came back and said I was right. After that I got a weird bill from some medical group not related for $75 that the insurance rejected. When I inquired about the bill, I found out Parker billed us an extra $75 . The charge was listed as "cough test"--to listen to my son's cough… with a stethoscope, above and beyond the urgent care charge.
