Dr. Jonathan Rhee, MD

I should say Dr. Rhee himself was a great doctor (5star) for my first visit but his staff was 0 star. REALLY so upset with this office staff and so unfortunate that such a great dr (Dr. Jonathan Rhee) has such a rude and not responsible staff!!!! My husband had an order of prescription which was denied by pharmacy since it's needed pre-authorization from insurance. Since last week Tuesday Sep. 21, 2021 that I contacted to Dr. Rhee staff to submit the pre-authorization request to insurance until now Monday Sep. 27, 2021 any time I was contacting to Dr. Rhee office to follow up about the status of pre-authorization request I was on hold for 10-15 min until someone respond and then they were telling me to contact in next couple of hours that the nurse can respond you. Then eventually they were telling me the authorization request is submitted to insurance and still the status shows pending. Today after 1 week of waiting when I contacted to Dr. Rhee office to hear back about the status of… submitted authorization request (submitted by Dr. Rhee staff to insurance) I transferred to a a very rude lady from Financial department (she refused to share her name and hang up on me) and she told me NO authorization request submitted to insurance at all last week for my husband prescription!! Because Priority Partner insurance is not covering anything related to infertility matter so there is no point to submit any authorization request to insurance. REALLY?!! ok why you didn't tell me this in last week and your staff keep lying on me that authorization form is submitted and the status shows pending?! This is outside of Dr's team courtesy manner that lying on patients situation and then talk to them rude in reaction to their concern toward what the staff done to them. I waste hours of my valuable time since last week to talk with staff while they even did not submit any authorization request to insurance and they keep lying on me that they are submitted while I could get my answer one week ago. To me this is not acceptable at all first for lying to patient about their medical situation, and second wasting valuable time of others, and at the end its VERY impolite that instead of saying sorry for something done wrong to patient talking loud, rude and hang up on them?! She even didnt stay to hear my feedback and hang up on me! Unbelievable?! I can't believe I had this conversation with a Dr. office!! This person first need to work on her mental issue then hired by a Dr. office. Anyway lying about patient status is outside of medical policy and its against the law. Dr. Jonathan Rhee you were so great but unfortunately your not responsible staff attitude will lowering down your quality of work and in long term I'm sure its affecting you. Still cant believe this person behaviour today!! Patients this is a big red alert about staff attitude, be careful about your choice. You may think this might not be your issue but if you end of to some points like me that need staff help you may experience same thing I experienced.

Dr. Rhee was a wonderful human being who worked with me through a time of great stress to explain my condition to me in a kind, comfortable way. He made me feel at ease and was very kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and could not have asked for a more experienced, compassionate urologist.

I had prostate cancer and Dr. Rhee performed my Radical Prostatectomy. The results were great and aligned greatly with what we had discussed in his office prior to surgery. The follow-up visits were thorough and not rushed. He took the time to answer all of my questions (and my wife's). I highly recommend him for any Urologist needs.

Dr. Rhee's customer service is outstanding. He showed so much patience and kindness caring for my husband who was delirious. Dr. Rhee did a fantastic job with the procedure my husband needed. I am so thankful for all he has done for my husband. Finding a doctor like Dr. Rhee is a blessing!

Dr. Rhee went above and beyond. He actually drove to a hospital out of his way to pick up records of mine because he was so concerned. He listens and he is a smart, down to earth, genuine and a good diagnostician. I'm proud to have him as my doctor .

Dr. Rhee made me feel comfortable during my entire procedure. I chose local anesthesia, and throughout we carried on a fun conversation helping remain calm. Great bedside manner and funny guy.

Dr. Rhee and his staff have, time and again, go out of their way to ensure that all needs were met. They spent time dealing with the insurance company to ensure that I got everything that was needed to ensure the best care / treatment.
