Dr. Jonathan Michael Richter

I have been a patient of Dr Richter's for the past 25 years. Until recently, I had the normal teeth issues that most people my age experience - cavities and crowns and the occasional root canal which he referred me to a specialist to have preformed. For the past two years, I have been dealing with bone loss and eventual impact work. Dr Richter's conservative approach to my overall dental care has been extremely beneficial. He is thorough, careful and always has my comfort concerns top of mind when working on my teeth. He explains what he is going to do in a simple to understand manner that puts me at ease and inspires confidence. Even administering Novocain is a painless process with his gentle touch. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for highly professional dental care.

I have been seeing Dr. Richter since 2003. After I neglected dental care for many years he was able to bring my dental health back from the brink of disaster. Before actually working on my teeth he first educated me as to the reasons for the deterioration of my teeth and gums. Dr. Richter made sure that I had a thorough understanding of the course and time involved to remedy this neglect. I have never had a reason to regret the decision to work with Dr. Richter. In fact, so conscientious is he that during a time when I was working out of state and could not get to his office for a follow up procedure, Dr. Richter contacted a dentist in that state and made an appointment for me so that I would not go wanting. Furthermore, in the age of cell phone interruptions and conversations,( one of my pet peeves), this NEVER happens with Dr. Richter. His staff is always attentive and professional; his office immaculate and comfortable. If I could give Dr. Richter 6 stars I would.

I first became a patient of Dr. Richter’s in 2011, when my regular dentist referred me to him for a procedure with which Dr. Richter had more experience. My series of appointments with Dr. Richter, to complete that work, was completely satisfactory. During the following three years, other work was performed by Dr. Richter, as needed. As of year-end of 2018, I’ve got a new problem to deal with. So my regular dentist again referred me to Dr. Richter. Naturally, it always feels a little disheartening to be informed that good ol’ tooth number thus-and-such is failing and requires special attention. But, for me, the emotional sting is lessened by the knowledge that I can rely on Dr. Richter to take care of the issue. My past experience as his patient inspires me to feel confident that the best possible outcome will be achieved. The new series of appointments to complete the work has commenced and is proceeding smoothly. Over the years, my professional relationship with Dr.… Richter has only been intermittent. So I feel particularly impressed by his ability to remember my sensibilities and to tailor his treatment recommendations accordingly. His demeanor with me is consistently courteous and upbeat. Moreover, if I am slow to understand the full scope of some aspect of what we are about to do — and if I ask him to please explain it to me again — he patiently does so.

My family has been using Dr. Richter and his staff for over 20 years. We all feel incredibly grateful to have a dentist who is so compassionate, gentle, knowledgeable, and great at what he does! From making an appointment to completion of dental work, every step is easy and painless. He explains all procedures and is happy to answer any questions we have. Dental cleanings by Linda, the dental hygienist are thorough and easy as well. The entire staff is friendly and proficient at what they do. Highly recommend this office to all!!!

I have been a patient of Dr Richter for too many years to count now, and always feel extremely at ease in their care. Dr Richter truly goes above and beyond for me without fail, and he and his team are always willing to accommodate my busy schedule. They are beyond patient, diligent and prompt. I was unbearably nervous before receiving dental implant surgery and Dr Richter not only put my mind at ease, but walked me through every step of the process so there would be no surprises which was incredibly helpful to me. I could not recommend any other dental office more strongly and am extremely appreciative of the quality of work they have always and continue to provide. You will be in the absolute best hands with Dr Richter and his staff! That's a promise!

I have been a patient of Dr. Richter for many years. I had an emergency on Wednesday - while eating dinner 3 bottom teeth that are part of holding up my partial denture in place fell out. I stopped in the office on my way to work and explained what happened. I was told to come back at 11:30 which I did. I was seen within 10 minutes, and Dr Richter set the 3 teeth back in my mouth with permanent "cement", so now I am able to use my lower partial. I have never had an issue with him and will continue to use him as my dentist. The service was excellent as it always has been and my "emergency" was taken care of that morning.

The worst. I am a recent endocarditis survivor. I went to him for a second opinion. He was dismissive, rushed, always going back & forth to other patients never giving his full attention. Went for a cleaning. It was painful and traumatizing and when I told him I was in pain afterwards & called his office, he never called me back. I went for a follow-up visit, told him I had been through so muc. he grabbed my purse from behind me and threw it on my lap. That was his way of dismissing me. DISGUSTING. His bad reviews on the "Healthgrades" website it spot on true. I should have believed all the bad reviews & spared my self more physical and emotional pain from this heartless arrogant dentist.
