Dr. Jonathan Thomas Rie, MD

I had been with my previous Dr. for many years and not happy for a while, but reluctant to change. I took a leap of faith after a couple of referrals and am very happy. Dr. Rie has a wonderful manner, is thorough and direct. I am so happy I found him.

Bad doctor. Stay away. Dr. Rie neglected to order ultrasound and blood tests for me--for years!--that he should have ordered, for an enlarged thyroid that I have. Find a competent doctor.

Excellent support staff but needs to develope a better bedside manner, especially with new patients. Very good diagnostician, but prescribed medication was difficult to continue. Severe side effects.

This doctor was covering one weekend when we called, as my family member was having chest discomfort. He recommended resting at home that evening, and for the rest of the weekend. Thankfully, we called another physician, who was not even involved with the individual's care, but who had her immediately go to the er, where it was determined that she had suffered a heart attack. This physician made a critical mistake . I don't even want to think what the costs could have been. How could a doctor miss something like that?
