I did not see Ruzi. If you go to Arizona Pulmonary Specialists please read the reviews. DONT GO THERE. The front office has caused me great emotional harm which sent me into NOT breathing! The office staff is horrible. I don't know how the doctors deal with the front office making their own decisions who is seen and who isn't. It all comes to money. We paid our bill, had proof, and they kept trying to collect money from us. The obese girl up front and the financial director have no idea how to deal with sick people. I had just been in ICU on a vent and the coward director sent me a letter via patient portal that I was fired because we didn't agree with Ms Obese up front. The director is no better causing patient harm to me. Please Dr Ruzi, save your practice and get rid of these women. They will cause a death one day. Donna Adler

Dr. Ruzi spent considerable time during the initial interview, asked questions we’ve never been asked, identified tangential issues not previously on our radar, and described how different breathing could be for our daughter in the very realistic timeframe of one (1) year. In a mere two (2) months, his recommendations have already so drastically changed our daughter’s life that we will forever be thankful that we were referred to Dr. Ruzi.

I accompanied my wife to see Dr. Ruzi just yesterday. His office was well prepared during this pandemic to keep both staff and patients safe. We waited less than 10 minutes, and Dr Ruzi promptly came in once my wife had her vitals done. He was not rushed at all, spending over 20 minutes discussing my wife's recent abnormal scan. We actually got to see the scan on his computer which allowed both of us to get a better idea of what the report was talking about, and he answered all our many questions. We left the office out a back door without a need to checkout or touch any paperwork for safety precautions. He was very reassuring, but also had a detailed plan for follow-up testing and office visit that was handled promptly by phone later that afternoon. As a physician myself, it was nice to have a knowledgeable, personable, and caring doctor at the helm of of my wife's pulmonary care. Thx Dr. R!

I was recently hospitalized for a mediastinal emphysema and pneumothorax, a fancy way to say part of my lung ruptured and resulted in a small collapse. I strongly dislike the medical community and have had very few satisfactory encounters with doctors. My experience with Dr. Ruzi was exceptional. He calmed my nerves about the situation, supported by his analysis of my test results. During my post-release follow up, Dr. Ruzi recommended an additional test, that I felt was very proportional to our concerns. Finally, I was more or less given a 'clean bill of health' with option to return to him for a check up in a year. Overall, incredible experience - thank you Dr. Ruzi.

I have been seeing Dr. Ruzi since I was a teenager -16 years and counting. He has helped manage my asthma from a point where we never thought I would be above 70% lung capacity. In the last 10 years with his supportive care, I have been able to get to 90%. He has always been available when I've needed him, and I truly don't know what I will do the day he tells me he's deciding to retire. He is my go to doctor for support and even if I need a referral to someone else in a different field. I trust him without question and highly recommend him for anyone looking for a truly supportive and caring pulmonary specialist.

It's refreshing to find a doctor that really takes the time to explain and discuss options and is very personable. I would recommend Dr. Ruzi to any one.

Rude doctor. Doesn’t answer questions. Unprofessional; wrote up a report with my name but another patients diagnosis and results!!

I've been seeing Dr. Ruzi for over a year and must say his demeanor, professionalism, knowledge and bedside manner are above reproach. He's easy to talk to and listens. I highly recommend him.
