Dr. Jonathan Craven Schell, MD

I really liked Dr Schell, so I decided to get new glasses and thought since he was so good it would be a good place to get them. When I looked out the window I could see the sign across the street and read a paper they gave me. I wore them home and everything was blurry. I was making a turn and ran over a sidewalk. I took them off and when I got home I couldn't see my computer. I called them and went back in. They said they would only give half What I paid or make them again. Same thing when they made them again. I am out $670.00

I give Dr. Schell and his amazing staff 5 stars. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and the mono vision lens put in my left eye. I always dreaded the thought of having cataract surgery. He explained every detail and there is no pain at all through the whole process. I highly recommend Dr. Schell and STL Vision

Dr. Schell at St. Louis Vision, is very capable eye doctor and cataract surgeon. The wait time in the doctorâ??s office, for routine office visits, is less than with other doctors. All of the office personnel and medical staff are very capable professionals. I had both cataract eye lens removed and replaced, about a month apart. The only pain was from one of the eye drops that have a little bit of a sting and the IV line that was inserted; for only a moment of time. The medical staff that assists Dr. Schell was there to make sure that I was not only comfortable, but completely ready for the surgery. The procedure was very calm and relaxed as everyone efficiently worked to get the patients ready for the surgery. I almost fell asleep. The actual surgery was a matter of looking at a faint red light when asked to do so. Not the least bit scary. Now that the cataracts have been removed I can see colors more vivid than in the last year of time. Without glasses I now have 20/40 vision… and with glasses, in a few weeks, I will be able to see 20/20 or better. If you have cataracts, get the surgery done, it is worth the time. The doctor and his medical team make it seem easy.

Excellent doctor and staff. Very knowledgeable, explains details in "layman's" terms and friendly with patients. I would highly recommend to give him a try.
